It was purchased in early 2020 for around 300 euros.
The phone is great, it does everything and does it well, whether it's gaming, taking photos, or simply browsing. It only had minor glitches 1-2 times, and that was because I hadn't restarted it for months.
Only 2 negatives, the battery starts to drain quickly, it was never particularly big, but now it needs to be charged every day (although it charges quickly, that's true). The second is what others mentioned in another review, that the screen easily breaks, especially at the corners, so it's necessary to get a good case and screen protector.

I have had the phone for 8 months... I only buy Huawei phones. Now, of course, I will only follow Honor models. The phone is amazing. Now that it has received Android 11, I wouldn't change it for anything. Photos, speed, sound, call quality, display, and top-notch processor, it doesn't lag anywhere. I push it to its limits. Simply top-notch.

I have had the device for 2 months. The positives are that the LCD screen is decent, not like AMOLED of course, but still quite good with settings that you can adjust to your liking. The call quality is very good, I sound clear and they can hear me perfectly fine. The phone's speed is not a problem at all, as it has a powerful Kirin 980 processor. The speaker is also good. Everything is fine up to this point, but the camera and battery have concerned me a bit. It lasts throughout the day, but with demanding usage it can be a bit difficult. If it's already struggling now when it's new, imagine how quickly it will drain after 1 year. The big positive is that it charges from 0 to 100 in just over an hour, so that balances out the issue somewhat. And finally, the camera, which has several settings that with a little exploration can produce a decent quality photo, but not crystal clear. This may be due to the update it received to Android 10, which doesn't allow me to choose the resolution in megapixels. I hope this gets fixed in the future because it definitely has many updates to make. In summary, it is a decent mobile phone. I bought it for 235 euros and I definitely believe that there is nothing better for the price I paid. I would have gotten the pro version, but due to the price, it would have exceeded my budget, although it would definitely be better in terms of camera and battery. I hope I helped!

Owner for two weeks and I have good things to say about the phone. I come from a Samsung s7 and I see that the battery is very good, the photos are good but not perfect, the screen after amoled I am quite satisfied, the only thing I can't get used to is that it doesn't have a home screen and apart from the menu with the applications and the keyboard I have some concerns... Maybe it's because I had the old phone for 5 years and I was used to it... It will show in the 245 that I bought it is very good anyway I recommend it to you... I believe the negatives I mentioned are exaggerations and maybe some insignificant ones and it may be a matter of my own idiosyncrasy

The HONOR 20 is a mobile phone worth buying if you are not willing to exceed 315 euros. It is a mid-range mobile phone.

Personally, I chose it because of the price, the features that fully covered my needs, and the screen size, which is of a normal size. You feel like you are looking at a beautiful screen, but not a tablet. I consider larger screens to be less user-friendly. It is 6.34 inches, if I remember correctly, and I think it's okay.
(-) In general, it is too early for me to find any flaws as I have had it for a month. As a negative aspect, for some people, the speaker may not be very impressive... However, who listens to music directly from their phone anymore? We all have at least one Bluetooth speaker.
Also, a slight negative is that during a call, I haven't found yet how to keep the screen off. From what I know, there are solutions with applications, etc. Sometimes it requires a good positioning on the ear (I think many mobile phones have this issue). It's not a permanent issue. At some point, you will find it.
One last negative point for the more demanding users is that because it is not such a mainstream model, there are not endless options for cases and screen protectors. You will find them, but maybe not at the store across from your house. Do some research, maybe you can find them together (mobile phone and cases).

Overall,
As a former owner of the Honor 8, which lasted me a solid 4 years, I have to say that Honor phones are very reliable in my opinion. I searched a lot on the internet and tried to find the best possible option within my max budget. I believe I found it. Don't compare it to Xiaomi, etc. There is no reason to if you have serious demands regarding the screen, camera, battery, etc. I would say that a very good competitor is the Huawei P20 and the Honor View. The first one is still a bit more expensive, I think, but it's worth it (it has a slightly smaller screen than the Honor 20 but an amazing camera as well). I don't need to analyze the specifications for you as they are all available on the internet.

(+) I really like the various modes of the camera. You can see the calories of displayed food, scan objects and get prices on the internet... It's fun. It is a mobile phone that will last for a long time, and you know it because it has the latest technologies.
(+) Very satisfied with its night shots. I compare it to the Samsung S7 that I had alongside the Honor 8, and it wins.
(+) Nice feeling and resolution when shooting videos. It has stabilization!

Fast, beautiful, user-friendly.
However, these are just my own opinions... Write on a piece of paper in order what you would like your mobile phone to have, from the most important to the least important, and do your research. Monitor prices and reviews on the internet and make your choice.

I had the honor 8 mobile for 3 years with full handling the mobile did not stop day and night so I decided to get this mobile it is really wonderful mobile very good it takes very nice photos the speakers are very good I do not understand why some have a problem the battery with a lot of use lasts very long I highly recommend it!!! of course there are mobiles of the same level with a lower price!

Satisfied. It offers everything at this price and with 128GB... What can one say. I highly recommend it, just if someone wants the classic headphone jack, they might consider the Honor View 20.

Update (19/02/2022)
3rd year with the Honor 20 and I have to say.. I'm afraid to change devices. I have fallen in love with it. It works like the first day and I haven't had the same experience with any other device. When I say I feel like I bought it six months ago, I mean it.. It has helped me tremendously in my work as well. The Zoom and Skype calls I have on a daily basis with the Xiaomi tripod I bought from here.. It's unbelievable.

Unfortunately, the newer models didn't have Google Services - except for the recent Honor 50 - which don't attract me at all. So I will stick with the Honor 20 for as long as possible. And I don't see myself wanting any other device for at least a year!

1) Amazing battery that lasts 2 days of demanding use, 24 hours with games.

The low-light photography has a big problem, it is full of noise at night. The quality of the photos and videos at night is unacceptable, I would say. Owner for two weeks and I have good things to say about the phone. I come from a Samsung s7 and I see that the battery is very good, the photos are good but not perfect, the screen after amoled I am quite satisfied, the only thing I can't get used to is that it doesn't have a home screen and apart from the menu with the applications and the keyboard I have some concerns... Maybe it's because I had the old phone for 5 years and I was used to it... It will show in the 245 that I bought it is very good anyway I recommend it to you... I believe the negatives I mentioned are exaggerations and maybe some insignificant ones and it may be a matter of my own idiosyncrasy

The HONOR 20 is a mobile phone worth buying if you are not willing to exceed 315 euros. It is a mid-range mobile phone.

Personally, I chose it because of the price, the features that fully covered my needs, and the screen size, which is of a normal size. You feel like you are looking at a beautiful screen, but not a tablet. I consider larger screens to be less user-friendly. It is 6.34 inches, if I remember correctly, and I think it's okay.
(-) In general, it is too early for me to find any flaws as I have had it for a month. As a negative aspect, for some people, the speaker may not be very impressive... However, who listens to music directly from their phone anymore? We all have at least one Bluetooth speaker.
Also, a slight negative is that during a call, I haven't found yet how to keep the screen off. From what I know, there are solutions with applications, etc. Sometimes it requires a good positioning on the ear (I think many mobile phones have this issue). It's not a permanent issue. At some point, you will find it.
One last negative point for the more demanding users is that because it is not such a mainstream model, there are not endless options for cases and screen protectors. You will find them, but maybe not at the store across from your house. Do some research, maybe you can find them together (mobile phone and cases).

Overall,
As a former owner of the Honor 8, which lasted me a solid 4 years, I have to say that Honor phones are very reliable in my opinion. I searched a lot on the internet and tried to find the best possible option within my max budget. I believe I found it. Don't compare it to Xiaomi, etc. There is no reason to if you have serious demands regarding the screen, camera, battery, etc. I would say that a very good competitor is the Huawei P20 and the Honor View. The first one is still a bit more expensive, I think, but it's worth it (it has a slightly smaller screen than the Honor 20 but an amazing camera as well). I don't need to analyze the specifications for you as they are all available on the internet.

(+) I really like the various modes of the camera. You can see the calories of displayed food, scan objects and get prices on the internet... It's fun. It is a mobile phone that will last for a long time, and you know it because it has the latest technologies.
(+) Very satisfied with its night shots. I compare it to the Samsung S7 that I had alongside the Honor 8, and it wins.
(+) Nice feeling and resolution when shooting videos. It has stabilization!

Fast, beautiful, user-friendly.
However, these are just my own opinions... Write on a piece of paper in order what you would like your mobile phone to have, from the most important to the least important, and do your research. Monitor prices and reviews on the internet and make your choice.

I had the honor 8 mobile for 3 years with full handling the mobile did not stop day and night so I decided to get this mobile it is really wonderful mobile very good it takes very nice photos the speakers are very good I do not understand why some have a problem the battery with a lot of use lasts very long I highly recommend it!!! of course there are mobiles of the same level with a lower price!

Satisfied. It offers everything at this price and with 128GB... What can one say. I highly recommend it, just if someone wants the classic headphone jack, they might consider the Honor View 20.

Update (19/02/2022)
3rd year with the Honor 20 and I have to say.. I'm afraid to change devices. I have fallen in love with it. It works like the first day and I haven't had the same experience with any other device. When I say I feel like I bought it six months ago, I mean it.. It has helped me tremendously in my work as well. The Zoom and Skype calls I have on a daily basis with the Xiaomi tripod I bought from here.. It's unbelievable.

Unfortunately, the newer models didn't have Google Services - except for the recent Honor 50 - which don't attract me at all. So I will stick with the Honor 20 for as long as possible. And I don't see myself wanting any other device for at least a year!

Very good phone.

1) Amazing battery that lasts 2 days of demanding use, 24 hours with games.

2) Lightning-fast fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

3) Very good screen, even though it's LCD.

4) Top-notch CPU and the phone is super fast.

5) Incredible camera and video quality.

It's worth getting it and you will remember me.

UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: Guys, I came back after 1 year to assure you that the phone still performs amazingly and the battery still holds up very well. My previous Samsung phones can't even compare. If you don't have the budget for a OnePlus device or a high-end Xiaomi, which are also great options for the price, go for this one

I am a person who has tried all the flagships. The phone has excellent battery life, it never runs out. The screen resolution is satisfactory. It is very fast because it has the Kirin 980. The low-light photography has a big problem, it is full of noise at night. The quality of the photos and videos at night is unacceptable, I would say. That's why I sold it and bought the Honor View 20. There is no comparison between day and night photos, it is on par with the Mate 20 Pro. Instead of getting this, consider getting the Honor View 20, it is the same in all other aspects

The phone is great, it does everything and does it well, whether it's gaming, taking photos, or simply browsing. It only had minor glitches 1-2 times, and that was because I hadn't restarted it for months.
Only 2 negatives, the battery starts to drain quickly, it was never particularly big, but now it needs to be charged every day (although it charges quickly, that's true). The second is what others mentioned in another review, that the screen easily breaks, especially at the corners, so it's necessary to get a good case and screen protector.

I have had the device for 2 months. The positives are that the LCD screen is decent, not like AMOLED of course, but still quite good with settings that you can adjust to your liking. The call quality is very good, I sound clear and they can hear me perfectly fine. The phone's speed is not a problem at all, as it has a powerful Kirin 980 processor. The speaker is also good. Everything is fine up to this point, but the camera and battery have concerned me a bit. It lasts throughout the day, but with demanding usage it can be a bit difficult. If it's already struggling now when it's new, imagine how quickly it will drain after 1 year. The big positive is that it charges from 0 to 100 in just over an hour, so that balances out the issue somewhat. And finally, the camera, which has several settings that with a little exploration can produce a decent quality photo, but not crystal clear. This may be due to the update it received to Android 10, which doesn't allow me to choose the resolution in megapixels. I hope this gets fixed in the future because it definitely has many updates to make. In summary, it is a decent mobile phone. I bought it for 235 euros and I definitely believe that there is nothing better for the price I paid. I would have gotten the pro version, but due to the price, it would have exceeded my budget, although it would definitely be better in terms of camera and battery. I hope I helped!
