So, go for lower weight paper. You won't notice a difference.

In combination with its low price, it is the best thing I have used for greeting cards. Its thickness and texture are ideal. Of course, your printer needs to be able to print them because the paper is quite thick. Don't let the grams confuse you... the matte papers (of the same weight) are thicker than the gloss ones.
