The NiteCore UI2 charger charges two Li-ion batteries simultaneously and features independent control for each slot. It automatically detects the battery and selects the appropriate charging program, with constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) modes. The indicator lights on each slot show the charging status and the battery’s charge level.

The USB input allows connection to compatible power sources, such as USB adapters and power banks. The charger can activate deeply discharged Li-ion batteries with a protection circuit, and charging stops automatically when complete. It includes short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection, as well as thermal protection that regulates the charging current.
