With proper placement on a core i7-12700 in a huge spacious case, it does not perform as expected. Currently, it idles at 36-39 degrees and reaches up to 85 degrees in stress tests. When running at full capacity, it is audible. Additionally, on the Aorus Z690 Pro, it fits towards the RAM due to an asymmetry on the sides, matching the Kingston DDR5 Furybeast exactly. It will not fit with taller RAM or it will be installed towards the other side, causing the exhaust fan to be raised above the IO panel, which will further affect performance. Okay, it doesn't allow the CPU to throttle, but it's too expensive for what it offers. Let's not make false claims that it is better than a water cooler.

Με ψηλότερες δεν θα μπαίνει ή θα εγκατασταθεί προς την άλλη πλευρά που θα σηκωθεί ο exhaust fan πάνω για να χωρέσει στο io-panel πράγμα που θα επηρεάσει ακόμα περισσότερο την απόδοση. Οκ δεν αφήνει να κάνει throttle η cpu αλλά πολύ ακριβή για αυτό που προσφέρει. Μη λέμε ανακρίβειες ότι είναι καλύτερη από water cooler.
Initially, I was skeptical about air cooling and was ready to buy an AIO liquid cooler that offers guaranteed performance and an extra fan to improve the case's airflow. After watching Linus' video, I thought about combining this cooler with the Lian-Li Lancool 2 Mesh, which is possibly the case with the best airflow, as he showed that in some cases it is quieter and more effective than an AIO. And he was right. I found that under load, the CPU didn't exceed 55°C and the GPU stayed below 50°C. In my opinion, if you can combine it with a case with good airflow, there is no reason to buy a liquid cooler.

Και ειχε δικιο. Διαπιατωσα πως under load o cpu δεν παιρνουσε τους 55°C και η gpu τους 50°C. Γνωμη μου αν μπορειτε να την συνδυασετε με ενα κουτι με καλο airflow δεν υπαρχει λογος να αγοράσετε υδροψυξη.

We're talking about a maximum of 71 degrees Celsius in Cinebench with 10 runs and 4.4GHz all-core OC @ 1.3V. The best part is the sound produced by the cooler. There is none. It is completely silent, to the point where you have to check to make sure it's working, even under heavy workload. Noctua includes "Low Noise Adaptors" in the box, cables that allow the cooler to run at 1700rpm instead of 2000rpm for extra quietness, although I didn't need them. Noctua also includes a whole tube of NT-H1 thermal paste in the box, which is enough for several builds and changes.
Six years of warranty from the manufacturer, and for those who don't know about Noctua, you can send them an email and they will provide you with free mounting brackets if you upgrade to a different platform and want to keep the cooler. That's the kind of support we're talking about.

Με ψηλότερες δεν θα μπαίνει ή θα εγκατασταθεί προς την άλλη πλευρά που θα σηκωθεί ο exhaust fan πάνω για να χωρέσει στο io-panel πράγμα που θα επηρεάσει ακόμα περισσότερο την απόδοση. Οκ δεν αφήνει να κάνει throttle η cpu αλλά πολύ ακριβή για αυτό που προσφέρει. Μη λέμε ανακρίβειες ότι είναι καλύτερη από water cooler.

After watching Linus' video, I thought about combining this cooler with the Lian-Li Lancool 2 Mesh, which is possibly the case with the best airflow, as he showed that in some cases it is quieter and more effective than an AIO. And he was right. I found that under load, the CPU didn't exceed 55°C and the GPU stayed below 50°C. In my opinion, if you can combine it with a case with good airflow, there is no reason to buy a liquid cooler.

Μετα απο βιντεο του Linus σκεφτηκα να συνδυασω την εν λογω ψυκτρα με το lian-li lancool 2 mesh ισως το κουτι με το καλυτερο airflow, αφου ο τυπος εδειξε οτι σε ορισμενες περιπτωσεις ειναι και πιο αθορυβη και πιο αποτελεσματικη απο aio. Και ειχε δικιο. Διαπιατωσα πως under load o cpu δεν παιρνουσε τους 55°C και η gpu τους 50°C. Γνωμη μου αν μπορειτε να την συνδυασετε με ενα κουτι με καλο airflow δεν υπαρχει λογος να αγοράσετε υδροψυξη.

We're talking about a maximum of 71 degrees Celsius in Cinebench with 10 runs and 4.4GHz all-core OC @ 1.3V. The best part is the sound produced by the cooler. There is none. It is completely silent, to the point where you have to check to make sure it's working, even under heavy workload. Noctua includes "Low Noise Adaptors" in the box, cables that allow the cooler to run at 1700rpm instead of 2000rpm for extra quietness, although I didn't need them. Noctua also includes a whole tube of NT-H1 thermal paste in the box, which is enough for several builds and changes.

It is by far one of the best air coolers on the market and is intended for those who want similar performance to the NH-D15 but prefer the best fans ever made, much less noise, much smaller size, and compatibility with all RAM.
It uses the best fans ever made by Noctua (NF-A12x25) in terms of noise/performance, as they have incredible aerodynamic design. For even lower noise, it can be installed with a "Low-Noise" adapter, although in my opinion, it is not necessary.
In my system, it cools an Intel i7-11700K Overclocked @ 5.0 GHz (all-core) without any issues. It literally outperforms many liquid cooling systems, which require maintenance and have much more noise due to the pump.

Χρησιμοποιεί τα καλύτερα fan που έχει φτιάξει ποτέ η Noctua ( NF-A12x25 ), σε θόρυβο / απόδοση, μιας και έχουν τρομερη αεροδυναμική σχεδίαση. Για ακόμη χαμηλότερο θόρυβο, μπορεί να τοποθετηθεί με "Low-Noise" adapter, αν και κατα τη γνώμη μου δε χρειάζεται.
Στο συστημά μου, ψύχει απροβλημάτιστα έναν Intel i7-11700K Overclocked @ 5.0 GHz (all-core). Κυριολεκτικά κοροιδεύει πολλά συστήματα υδρόψυξης, τα οποία και χρειάζονται συντήρηση, και έχουν πολύ περισσότερο θόρυβο λόγω της αντλίας.
With proper placement on a core i7-12700 in a huge spacious case, it does not perform as expected. Currently, it idles at 36-39 degrees and reaches up to 85 degrees in stress tests. When running at full capacity, it is audible. Additionally, on the Aorus Z690 Pro, it fits towards the RAM due to an asymmetry on the sides, matching the Kingston DDR5 Furybeast exactly. It will not fit with taller RAM or it will be installed towards the other side, causing the exhaust fan to be raised above the IO panel, which will further affect performance. Okay, it doesn't allow the CPU to throttle, but it's too expensive for what it offers. Let's not make false claims that it is better than a water cooler.
