ok, for their category, these are among the best drill bits you can buy. Personally, as someone who is not a professional in the construction field, these are the best I've had. They make drilling through stone/concrete much easier compared to regular commercial drill bits. I don't have a good opinion for drilling into concrete when you happen to hit rebar... but they definitely don't get damaged

Why bother with the cheap drills that we all happen to have at home in boxes and drawers? The cost compared to the ease with which you will be drilling holes is very good, get the Bosch CYL-5 and that's it.

I got them years ago (2018-19?) when I wanted to install ceiling fans, they drill through concrete like butter! After 7 fans, still like new. One day I tried a regular drill on brick... I thought I hit a column! With the Bosch, drilling becomes a breeze. Simply the best!

Tip if you are going to drill a ceiling that has insulation, they also come in longer lengths. I have them and they did the same good job.

Oh and don’t lend them out :) . I made the mistake of sharing them to have at the cottage and the main house and leaving them in the toolbox. Someone at home managed to lose the #4 which is not a double and I use it to open the guide, now I keep them stored and don’t lend them out ;)
