Excellent lens, with fast autofocus, still sharp, silent, very good in low light conditions, I haven't tried it with flash, the only downside I would say is its weight!
19/9/2025 Unfortunately, on the front glass of the lens, spiderwebbing appeared... a big disappointment because it shows that the build quality is not up to the company's status, I have lenses from 1970 that are excellent, and unfortunately this happened to one of the otherwise very good lenses... That's why I'm lowering the rating.

Εξαιρετικός φακός , με γρήγορο autofocus ακόμα, οξύς , αθόρυβος , πολύ καλός σε συνθήκες χαμηλού φωτισμού , δεν έχω δοκιμάσει με φλας , μείον θα έλεγα μόνο το βάρος του !
19/9/2025 δυστηχως αλλά στο εμπρός κρύσταλλο του φακού , εμφάνισε αραχνιασμα … μεγάλη απογοήτευση γιατί δείχνει ότι η ποιότητα κατασκευής συναρμολόγησης δεν είναι ανάλογη του status της εταιρίας , έχω φακούς του 1970 που είναι άριστοι , και δυστηχως συνέβη σε ένα από τους πολύ καλούς κατά αλλά φακό … Γι αυτό και κατεβάζω την βαθμολογία
26/9/25 Μόλις παρέλαβα τον φακό από το service της Nikon , το πρόβλημα λύθηκε 100% , μπορώ πω τέλεια , ευχαριστώ πολύ το service Δαμκαλιδης !
The 24-70 F mount orthodox non-vr broke so the logical choice for the Z6ii was this one. I was impressed since the D750 that it was a prime-lens killer with so much sharpness that I had never seen in a zoom. The current 24-70 on the Z6ii has managed to become an even bigger prime-lens killer to a point where you can't believe it. The way it depicts the edges, the hair, the textures is sick... Everyone talks about the 4th at half the price and that they don't see a difference in the image. I saw it and this lens is the king.
In terms of handling, the lens sticks to you like a magnet. Even when it's open, it doesn't change significantly.
Build quality: The Zoom ring gives me the feeling that in a few years I will want another one like the 24-70 I had before. Otherwise, the focus ring and the wanna-be aperture ring are hard and precise. However, I really completely disabled the latter because my hand accidentally touches it and bothers me. If ALL Nikon lenses had the same function, maybe I would use it, but for example in the 14-30 f/4 Z mount, which has the same size ring, it is the manual focus override. Also, the lens hood has a fabric lining inside that is very susceptible to scratches and dirt and I don't like it, but it locks when it is open in a position and does its job well. The Oled screen I feel should not exist. Susceptible to fingerprints and not particularly helpful but ok it's a nice marketing gimmick.
Now this lens has an L-fn button which I personally set to change to subject tracking. Very useful and convenient for a 24-70 where your frames are generally and you have 15 people you want to focus on a specific one.
If you really have the money for quality glass, it's worth it. If you don't, the 4th kit is fine. If you didn't get it with the body, used it is at a good price since new it is not worth the 1000 euros you can spend on the 24-120 or the 28-75 f/2.8.
2 MONTHS USAGE UPDATE: I went to a specific store in low light conditions with the same camera z6 ii, the same flash but the old 24-70 F mount Non VR, with the same Nikon SB900 flash, the lens struggled to focus as easily as the previous one. My most important image came out 20% blurry and I had to use AI to fix it. And unfortunately I have noticed it again and again. Unbelievable for a 2500€ lens

Είχα εντυπωσιαστεί από τότε στην D750 οτι ήταν prime-lens killer με τόση οξύτητα που δεν είχα ξαναδει σε ζουμ. Ο τωρινός 24-70 στην Z6ii εχει καταφέρει να γίνει ακόμα μεγαλύτερος prime -lens killer σε σημείο που δε το πιστεύεις. Ο τρόπος που απεικονίζει τα τέρματα, τα μαλλιά τις υφές άρρωστος... Λένε όλοι για τον 4ρη στα μισα λεφτα και ότι δε βλέπουν διαφορά στην εικόνα. Εγώ είδα και αυτός ο φακός είναι ο βασιλιάς.

Αν το είχαν ΟΛΟΙ οι φακοί της Nikon για την ίδια λειτουργία ίσως το χρησιμοποιούσα αλλά πχ στον 14-30 f/4 Z mount που έχει ίδιο μέγεθος ring ειναι το manual focus override. Επίσης το lens hood έχει μια υφασμάτινη επένδυση απο μέσα που είναι πολύ επιρρεπής σε σκόπη και βρωμια και δε μου αρέσει αλλα κλειδώνει οταν ειναι ανοιχτο σε μια θέση και είναι καλό στη δουλειά του. Η Oled οθόνη αισθάνομαι ότι δε θα έπρεπε να υπάρχει. Επιρρεπής σε δαχτυλιές γκρατζουνιές και οχι ιδιαίτερα βοηθητική αλλά οκ είναι ένα ωραίο marketing gimmick.
Τώρα αυτός ο φακός έχει ένα L-fn κουμπί που προσωπικά το έβαλα να αλλάζει σε subject tracking. Πολύ χρήσιμο και βολικό για για εναν 24-70 όπου τα κάδρα σου είναι γενικά και έχεις 15 άτομα απο τα οποια θες να εστιάζεις σε ένα συγκεκριμένο.
Αν πραγματικά έχετε τα λεφτά για ποιοτικό γυαλί τα αξίζει. Αν δε τα έχετε μια χαρά ειναι ο κιτ 4ρης. Αν δε τον πήρατε με το σώμα, μεταχειρισμένος βρίσκεται σε καλή τιμή αφού καινουριος δεν αξιζει σε καμία περίπτωση το 1000ρικο που μπορείτε να το δώσετε για τον 24-120 ή τον 28-75 f/2.8
UPDATE 2 ΜΗΝΕΣ ΧΡΗΣΗ: Πήγα Σε ένα συγκεκριμένο μαγαζί σε συνθήκες χαμήλου φωτισμού που ήμουν με την ίδια την ίδια κάμερα z6 ii, το ίδιο φλας αλλα τον παλιο 24-70 F mount Non VR, με το ίδιο φλας της Νικον SB900 ο φακός αδυνατούσε να εστιάσει το ίδιο εύκολα με τον προηγούμενο. Η πιο σημαντική μου εικόνα είχε βγει 20% φλου και αναγκάστηκα να βάλω AI για τη φτιάξει. Και δυστυχώς το έχω παρατηρήσει ξανα και ξανά. Απίστευτο για έναν φακο 2500€
And at 2.8 on the edges, you can see that it holds up very well. I have a Tamron 24-70 2.8 and at 24mm it distorts a bit and has chromatic aberration. This Nikkor is the best that has come out. It didn't become the best 24-70 ever released by chance. Also, silent focus, very silent though. And very fast. You don't need to think about anything else if you have a Z-mount body. Don't go for used or another brand or even an F-mount. Sooner or later you will regret it. This comment is a personal opinion and is mainly addressed to professionals
Και στο 2.8 στις ακρες βλεπεις ότι κρατάει πολύ καλά Εχω ενα ταμρον 24-70 2.8 και στα 24mm παραμορφώνει καμποσο και εχει κ chromatic aberration. Ο Nikkor αυτός είναι οτι καλύτερο εχει βγει. Δεν βγήκε τυχαία ο καλύτερος 24-70 που εχει βγεί ποτέ. Επίσης silent focus, πολύ silent όμως. Και πολύ γρήγορο. Δεν χρειάζεται να σκεφτείς για κάτι αλλο αν εχεις z mount body. Μη πατε σε μεταχειρισμένο η σε αλλη εταιρεία ούτε σε F mount. Αργα η γρήγορα θα το μετανιώσετε. Το σχόλιο είναι προσωπική αποψη και απευθύνομαι περισσότερο σε επαγγελματίες

The sharpest lens at all focal lengths with beautiful bokeh!
Also completely silent focusing that will not create any problems in recording clean sound in videos.
However, it is worth noting that compared to the equivalent Nikon Z lens with an aperture of f4, I did not observe a significant difference in sharpness (I'm not saying that it doesn't exist, but that it is not visible, for example, in an A4-sized print). So, if someone is willing to compromise with this, it depends on how much of a difference the 1-stop from f4 to f2.8 will make in their work when purchasing the lens.

Επίσης εντελώς αθόρυβη εστίαση που στο βίντεο δεν θα δημιουργήσει κανένα πρόβλημα στην καταγραφή καθαρού ήχου.
Αξίζει όμως να σημειωθεί ότι σε σύγκριση με τον αντίστοιχο φακό nikon z με διάφραγμα f4 δεν παρατήρησα μεγάλη διαφορά στην οξύτητα(δε λέω οτι δεν υπάρχει αλλά ότι δεν είναι ορατή για παράδειγμα σε μια εκτύπωση μεγέθους Α4). Άρα εφόσον κάποιος συμβιβάζεται με αυτό εξαρτάται πόσο μεγάλη διαφορά θα κάνει στη δουλειά του το 1 στοπ απο το f4 στο f2.8 για την αγορά του φακού.
The best I have ever held in my hands. Sharp, the quality of construction is incredible, nothing creaks, nothing rattles. I wish the spiral for the filters was metal like in Fujifilm for longer lifespan. The front screen is completely useless, the eye never goes to it. Also, very convenient the additional ring that you can adjust to whatever you want and the extra button.

Οξυτατος, η ποιότητα κατασκευής είναι απίστευτη δεν τρίζει τίποτα δεν χτυπάει τίποτα. θα ήθελα το σπιράλ για τα φίλτρα του να ήταν μεταλλικό οπως στα Fujifilm για μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια ζωής. Η οθόνη μπροστά είναι εντελώς άχρηστη δεν πάει το ματι ποτέ πάνω της. Επίσης, πολύ βολικό το επιπλέον δαχτυλίδι που το ρυθμίσεις σε ό,τι θες και το έξτρα κουμπί.
Incredible sharpness, silent and fast auto focus, very convenient and customizable functions (extra button and ring), overall it is an exceptional lens.
Disadvantages are the weight and size (which cancel out the advantage of smaller and lighter mirrorless) and, of course, the price.

Excellent lens, with fast autofocus, still sharp, silent, very good in low light conditions, I haven't tried it with flash, the only downside I would say is its weight!
19/9/2025 Unfortunately, on the front glass of the lens, spiderwebbing appeared... a big disappointment because it shows that the build quality is not up to the company's status, I have lenses from 1970 that are excellent, and unfortunately this happened to one of the otherwise very good lenses... That's why I'm lowering the rating.

Εξαιρετικός φακός , με γρήγορο autofocus ακόμα, οξύς , αθόρυβος , πολύ καλός σε συνθήκες χαμηλού φωτισμού , δεν έχω δοκιμάσει με φλας , μείον θα έλεγα μόνο το βάρος του !
19/9/2025 δυστηχως αλλά στο εμπρός κρύσταλλο του φακού , εμφάνισε αραχνιασμα … μεγάλη απογοήτευση γιατί δείχνει ότι η ποιότητα κατασκευής συναρμολόγησης δεν είναι ανάλογη του status της εταιρίας , έχω φακούς του 1970 που είναι άριστοι , και δυστηχως συνέβη σε ένα από τους πολύ καλούς κατά αλλά φακό … Γι αυτό και κατεβάζω την βαθμολογία
26/9/25 Μόλις παρέλαβα τον φακό από το service της Nikon , το πρόβλημα λύθηκε 100% , μπορώ πω τέλεια , ευχαριστώ πολύ το service Δαμκαλιδης !
The 24-70 F mount orthodox non-vr broke so the logical choice for the Z6ii was this one. I was impressed since the D750 that it was a prime-lens killer with so much sharpness that I had never seen in a zoom. The current 24-70 on the Z6ii has managed to become an even bigger prime-lens killer to a point where you can't believe it. The way it depicts the edges, the hair, the textures is sick... Everyone talks about the 4th at half the price and that they don't see a difference in the image. I saw it and this lens is the king.
In terms of handling, the lens sticks to you like a magnet. Even when it's open, it doesn't change significantly.
Build quality: The Zoom ring gives me the feeling that in a few years I will want another one like the 24-70 I had before. Otherwise, the focus ring and the wanna-be aperture ring are hard and precise. However, I really completely disabled the latter because my hand accidentally touches it and bothers me. If ALL Nikon lenses had the same function, maybe I would use it, but for example in the 14-30 f/4 Z mount, which has the same size ring, it is the manual focus override. Also, the lens hood has a fabric lining inside that is very susceptible to scratches and dirt and I don't like it, but it locks when it is open in a position and does its job well. The Oled screen I feel should not exist. Susceptible to fingerprints and not particularly helpful but ok it's a nice marketing gimmick.
Now this lens has an L-fn button which I personally set to change to subject tracking. Very useful and convenient for a 24-70 where your frames are generally and you have 15 people you want to focus on a specific one.
If you really have the money for quality glass, it's worth it. If you don't, the 4th kit is fine. If you didn't get it with the body, used it is at a good price since new it is not worth the 1000 euros you can spend on the 24-120 or the 28-75 f/2.8.
2 MONTHS USAGE UPDATE: I went to a specific store in low light conditions with the same camera z6 ii, the same flash but the old 24-70 F mount Non VR, with the same Nikon SB900 flash, the lens struggled to focus as easily as the previous one. My most important image came out 20% blurry and I had to use AI to fix it. And unfortunately I have noticed it again and again. Unbelievable for a 2500€ lens

Είχα εντυπωσιαστεί από τότε στην D750 οτι ήταν prime-lens killer με τόση οξύτητα που δεν είχα ξαναδει σε ζουμ. Ο τωρινός 24-70 στην Z6ii εχει καταφέρει να γίνει ακόμα μεγαλύτερος prime -lens killer σε σημείο που δε το πιστεύεις. Ο τρόπος που απεικονίζει τα τέρματα, τα μαλλιά τις υφές άρρωστος... Λένε όλοι για τον 4ρη στα μισα λεφτα και ότι δε βλέπουν διαφορά στην εικόνα. Εγώ είδα και αυτός ο φακός είναι ο βασιλιάς.
Στο θέμα του κρατήματος ο φακός κολλάει πάνω σου σαν μαγνήτης. Ακόμα κι όταν ανοίγει δεν αλλάζει σημαντικά.

Ωστόσο πραγματικά το τελευταίο το απενεργοποιήσα εντελώς γιατί πηγαίνει το χέρι μου το πειράζει ακούσια και με ενοχλεί. Αν το είχαν ΟΛΟΙ οι φακοί της Nikon για την ίδια λειτουργία ίσως το χρησιμοποιούσα αλλά πχ στον 14-30 f/4 Z mount που έχει ίδιο μέγεθος ring ειναι το manual focus override. Επίσης το lens hood έχει μια υφασμάτινη επένδυση απο μέσα που είναι πολύ επιρρεπής σε σκόπη και βρωμια και δε μου αρέσει αλλα κλειδώνει οταν ειναι ανοιχτο σε μια θέση και είναι καλό στη δουλειά του. Η Oled οθόνη αισθάνομαι ότι δε θα έπρεπε να υπάρχει. Επιρρεπής σε δαχτυλιές γκρατζουνιές και οχι ιδιαίτερα βοηθητική αλλά οκ είναι ένα ωραίο marketing gimmick.
Τώρα αυτός ο φακός έχει ένα L-fn κουμπί που προσωπικά το έβαλα να αλλάζει σε subject tracking. Πολύ χρήσιμο και βολικό για για εναν 24-70 όπου τα κάδρα σου είναι γενικά και έχεις 15 άτομα απο τα οποια θες να εστιάζεις σε ένα συγκεκριμένο.
Αν πραγματικά έχετε τα λεφτά για ποιοτικό γυαλί τα αξίζει. Αν δε τα έχετε μια χαρά ειναι ο κιτ 4ρης. Αν δε τον πήρατε με το σώμα, μεταχειρισμένος βρίσκεται σε καλή τιμή αφού καινουριος δεν αξιζει σε καμία περίπτωση το 1000ρικο που μπορείτε να το δώσετε για τον 24-120 ή τον 28-75 f/2.8
UPDATE 2 ΜΗΝΕΣ ΧΡΗΣΗ: Πήγα Σε ένα συγκεκριμένο μαγαζί σε συνθήκες χαμήλου φωτισμού που ήμουν με την ίδια την ίδια κάμερα z6 ii, το ίδιο φλας αλλα τον παλιο 24-70 F mount Non VR, με το ίδιο φλας της Νικον SB900 ο φακός αδυνατούσε να εστιάσει το ίδιο εύκολα με τον προηγούμενο. Η πιο σημαντική μου εικόνα είχε βγει 20% φλου και αναγκάστηκα να βάλω AI για τη φτιάξει. Και δυστυχώς το έχω παρατηρήσει ξανα και ξανά. Απίστευτο για έναν φακο 2500€
And at 2.8 on the edges, you can see that it holds up very well. I have a Tamron 24-70 2.8 and at 24mm it distorts a bit and has chromatic aberration. This Nikkor is the best that has come out. It didn't become the best 24-70 ever released by chance. Also, silent focus, very silent though. And very fast. You don't need to think about anything else if you have a Z-mount body. Don't go for used or another brand or even an F-mount. Sooner or later you will regret it. This comment is a personal opinion and is mainly addressed to professionals
Και στο 2.8 στις ακρες βλεπεις ότι κρατάει πολύ καλά Εχω ενα ταμρον 24-70 2.8 και στα 24mm παραμορφώνει καμποσο και εχει κ chromatic aberration. Ο Nikkor αυτός είναι οτι καλύτερο εχει βγει. Δεν βγήκε τυχαία ο καλύτερος 24-70 που εχει βγεί ποτέ. Επίσης silent focus, πολύ silent όμως. Και πολύ γρήγορο. Δεν χρειάζεται να σκεφτείς για κάτι αλλο αν εχεις z mount body. Μη πατε σε μεταχειρισμένο η σε αλλη εταιρεία ούτε σε F mount. Αργα η γρήγορα θα το μετανιώσετε. Το σχόλιο είναι προσωπική αποψη και απευθύνομαι περισσότερο σε επαγγελματίες

Also completely silent focusing that will not create any problems in recording clean sound in videos.
However, it is worth noting that compared to the equivalent Nikon Z lens with an aperture of f4, I did not observe a significant difference in sharpness (I'm not saying that it doesn't exist, but that it is not visible, for example, in an A4-sized print). So, if someone is willing to compromise with this, it depends on how much of a difference the 1-stop from f4 to f2.8 will make in their work when purchasing the lens.

Επίσης εντελώς αθόρυβη εστίαση που στο βίντεο δεν θα δημιουργήσει κανένα πρόβλημα στην καταγραφή καθαρού ήχου.
Αξίζει όμως να σημειωθεί ότι σε σύγκριση με τον αντίστοιχο φακό nikon z με διάφραγμα f4 δεν παρατήρησα μεγάλη διαφορά στην οξύτητα(δε λέω οτι δεν υπάρχει αλλά ότι δεν είναι ορατή για παράδειγμα σε μια εκτύπωση μεγέθους Α4). Άρα εφόσον κάποιος συμβιβάζεται με αυτό εξαρτάται πόσο μεγάλη διαφορά θα κάνει στη δουλειά του το 1 στοπ απο το f4 στο f2.8 για την αγορά του φακού.
The best I have ever held in my hands. Sharp, the quality of construction is incredible, nothing creaks, nothing rattles. I wish the spiral for the filters was metal like in Fujifilm for longer lifespan. The front screen is completely useless, the eye never goes to it. Also, very convenient the additional ring that you can adjust to whatever you want and the extra button.
Ότι καλύτερο έχουν πιάσει τε χέρια μου. Οξυτατος, η ποιότητα κατασκευής είναι απίστευτη δεν τρίζει τίποτα δεν χτυπάει τίποτα. θα ήθελα το σπιράλ για τα φίλτρα του να ήταν μεταλλικό οπως στα Fujifilm για μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια ζωής. Η οθόνη μπροστά είναι εντελώς άχρηστη δεν πάει το ματι ποτέ πάνω της. Επίσης, πολύ βολικό το επιπλέον δαχτυλίδι που το ρυθμίσεις σε ό,τι θες και το έξτρα κουμπί.
Incredible sharpness, silent and fast auto focus, very convenient and customizable functions (extra button and ring), overall it is an exceptional lens.
Disadvantages are the weight and size (which cancel out the advantage of smaller and lighter mirrorless) and, of course, the price.
Απίστευτη οξύτητα, αθόρυβο και γρήγορο auto focus, πολύ βολικές και προσαρμόσιμες λειτουργίες (έξτρα button και ring), γενικά πρόκειται για έναν εξαιρετικό φακό.
Μειονεκτήματα το βάρος και το μέγεθος (που ακυρώνουν το πλεονέκτημα των μικρότερων και ελαφρότερων mirrorless) και, φυσικά, η τιμή.
