The ToughArmor MB604SPO-B is a mobile, rugged case with hot-swappable drive capability. It includes 4x SATA/SAS SSD or HDD up to 15 mm in height and 1x CD/DVD/Blu-ray ROM with a height of 9.5 mm or 12.7 mm in a 5.25" bay. It is designed for commercial applications, such as military and medical systems, onboard and aviation computers, automotive systems, servers, workstations, and portable computer systems.

It maintains the drives' temperature at an optimal level with an adjustable 40mm fan and multiple ventilation holes throughout the enclosure. It features advanced removable drive trays with shock protection in harsh conditions, while the built-in individual LED indicators inform about the drive status.

The compact design of the MB604SPO-B features two 5.25" bays for direct exchange of 2.5" SSD/HDD drives with a height of 5mm-9.5mm (known as hot-swap) and a Slim/Ultra-Slim CD/DVD/Blu-ray ROM optical drive, ideal for high-capacity applications.

The newly designed optical drive bay supports any Slim 12.7 mm or Ultra-Slim 9.5 mm CD/DVD/Blu-Ray ROM reader. The MB604SPO-B drive case is designed to support hard drives and SSDs up to 15 mm in height, making them compatible with SAS and SATA drives.

SAS drives are used in industrial applications, such as long-term archiving, ensuring long lifespan, greater reliability, and speeds up to 15,000 RPM for fast data access. All SAS drives are supported, including Seagate Exos, HGST Ultrastar Series C, and Dell, HPE, and Toshiba SAS drives.

Installation is easy, thanks to the appropriately marked screw holes. Once connected, simply screw in the integrated screw and the drive is secured, allowing the optical drive to remain in place even in conditions of intense movement.
