It's good for its price, 30-50€ max, don't pay more than that.
I got it from Ozon for 37€, it was on sale.
There's also the JYS Arcade Combat Stick, but I haven't tried it.

Now, regarding how responsive it is:
as soon as you press the button even a little, it responds, so you don't need to press it halfway for it to register.

As for latency and polling rate, from what I see on a site, it's 250Hz like all controllers and latency is 11.4 ms.
    https://inputlag.science/controller/results/hori-fighting-stick-mini
So even if you get it to 1000Hz polling rate with some hack, it will have 8.7 ms latency, so whatever, wow.

It works on the computer normally without needing anything, and on Nintendo Switch.
Now, its buttons are kind of reversed, meaning it's
Y X instead of X Y, but it's not an issue, you just change it
    B A ______ A B
    anyway, it does its job.

Update: I don't know... no matter how much I tried, I couldn't play as steadily as on the keyboard.
Neither with controller nor with fighting stick do I play steadily.

Even though my keyboard is 15.4ms slower, that's just not possible.
Controller theoretically is 8ms and this is 11.4ms, and still I play faster and more steadily with the keyboard.
And let me say here that I have no experience with either, so it's not that I'm just used to the keyboard.

For me, it goes like this: 1) Keyboard, 2) Controller, 3) Fighting Stick

As for which is more comfortable, relaxing, nothing beats the controller.
The most relaxed and fun is the controller somehow, but when I want to play seriously, then it's the keyboard.
The only bad thing about the keyboard is that it has too many buttons and you get lost.

    I tried Tekken 7 | Tekken 8 Demo | GBFVR

and in none of them was the Fighting Stick better, it's the most unstable.
Other than that, I don't think it's the specific Fighting Stick or Arcade Stick's fault.

I noticed these days when I tried it again that when I do down-right 90 degrees, the \ down-right corner, whatever it's called, it registers twice.
Now I don't know if it's my fault or if this particular one has an issue.
I'll upload a picture of what I mean
