So, Astral Chain, Platinum has once again released an exceptional game, quite different from what we are used to. A unique gameplay that allows you to control both your character and your legion at the same time, creating incredible combos.

It has incredible music that draws you even further into the game and captivates you even more.

The story is very nice but a bit short, I would have liked it to have something more, even with some DLC.

Co-op, one controls the legion and the other the character, a nice feature but it makes the game more difficult because it requires synchronization with your teammate.

The negatives for me are that after finishing the story and some other stages that give you items and costumes, there is nothing else to do and it becomes boring. Also, there is no new game +, which after upgrading your items, skills, and legion, you would want to replay it in a much more difficult level, but unfortunately you can't.

For me, it was an incredible game with its negatives, but it was truly a masterpiece. Add it to your collection if you enjoy this type of game, it's worth the money and it's also something unique as a game with a unique gameplay.

I consider this particular game a must-have for console owners!
I find the gameplay incredible!!! The "simple" combat system improves as you progress,
and I constantly discover new things.

In general, for those who don't know, it's a mix of games like Bayonetta/Devil May Cry with Batman Arkham City. Chaotic battles with a relaxed dose of detective elements and puzzle solving.

So far, I find the story quite interesting without becoming tiresome.

It has a very high (in my opinion) replay value. The music is unbelievable!!! The same goes for the graphics, considering the console's capabilities. Overall, I've already spent about 20 hours on it and I easily see myself spending another 20 or more.

Additionally, the game also has a co-op mode, but I haven't had the chance to test it yet, so I can't give an opinion on that.

If there's one thing I regret about the game, it's not getting the Collector's Edition when I had the chance >.< If I knew I would like it as much as I do, I wouldn't have hesitated for a minute!!!

Overall, if you're a fan of action games that also have a dose of puzzle solving/exploration, this game is for you!

Very good game, although it doesn't have the standard Hack&Slash approach that previous Platinum titles had. It is slower in speed and more focused on the abilities of your Legion. It has enough content to keep the gameplay fresh even after finishing it, and its duration is around 15-20 hours. As for the story, characters, etc., they don't have anything special, but they are cohesive and overall do their job (so don't expect deep plots and philosophies for intellectuals like Nier: Automata).

There are 2 downsides... One is the camera, which often takes you out of yourself, and secondly, the mute protagonist, which has become a trend today. Having characters around you expressing fear, anger, and ideologies while you sit in the middle like the socially disturbed child of elementary school, looking at them without the slightest reaction, I don't know what purpose it serves. The funny thing about this game is that regardless of which of the 2 siblings you choose to play as, the other will have normal dialogue throughout the game.

I could also mention the locked 30fps at which the game runs, but since the platform is Nintendo Switch and not PS4/X1X, let's turn a blind eye. Overall, the title is worth buying, especially for those who are fans of the Hack&Slash genre.
