I have bought it twice, and both times some keys broke, as other people here have mentioned. Now, with the third one, I started wondering if maybe I’m throwing it around too much? Could that be why they break? I’m being as careful as possible, I even wrapped it in food-grade cling film. Yet, it still broke, I’m going for a fourth one (??)!! Now, for the first time, I’m facing a new problem: it drains the batteries!!! We’re talking hours, not days— I put in new ones and in a short while they’re empty. As a quick fix, I did what you see in the photo: I remove the battery when I’m not changing channels, I’m afraid to leave the batteries in for more than a few minutes! When I asked Google and AI about it, they suggested maybe the contacts are rusty and need cleaning, etc. I opened it up, cleaned it, everything was ok, it worked for a bit... And then the same thing happened again. Such a shame, a real shame, because I have a special TV for which I can’t find a remote control, model IQ, and this would have been a great solution if it didn’t have these problems. The price is about the same, around €10, and now I’m about to spend another tenner, a total of €40 (!!)... Just to... change channels!
