The Freud LU5B2300 cutting disc is designed for cutting aluminium, non-ferrous metals and polymer materials. It cuts profiles and pipes with a thickness of 2–5 mm, as well as polymer panels up to 20 mm thick. The flat trapezoidal teeth have a positive cutting angle.

It is used on single or double mitre saws with mechanical workpiece clamping.
