Simply incredible, worth its money and even more. A level above the Diplomatico, which is also an incredible rum.

Cheap taste with aromas that, if I hadn't paid so much money, I would be sure it's cheap tequila.

It gives you the feeling from the first sip that we are talking about a serious drink. Although I am writing this review after the 3rd tasting, as the truth is that I got a bit confused at first, coming from the previous rum I had (Don Papa Baroko) which was completely opposite in flavor (much smoother and sweeter). I am not an expert, and I cannot distinguish all those aromas that are mentioned. It has a spiciness and nice aromas, which are very balanced, leaving you with a pleasant taste, without excesses. Generally, it gives me a pure taste, far from what those containing a lot of added sugar have. It is definitely one of the best rums I have tried so far (if not the best), although a bit pricey..

I think it is the most enjoyable rum I have ever tasted. Try it in a tasting glass. Ideally with a Partagas D4 cigar.

Perhaps the best rum I have ever tasted and probably one of the best drinks I have had to date... In every aspect, taste and duration... Excellent!

It is very powerful, meaning it knocks you out within 1km or 2 at most. Also, my father liked it because he drank it and now he hasn't woken up for a month, meaning he still enjoys it. In my opinion, though, the taste reminds me of charcoal. (I'm writing this as I drink it and it's so-so, try it.)

For its price category, it is one of the highest quality aged solera rums, not the best for a beginner to start with, but later in their journey, they will love it... Taste: medium intense body-aging, with tropical expressiveness, smooth aging sensation in cognac & bourbon barrels, exotic fruits (toasted coconut, pineapple), light spices, cinnamon & medium "milky" sweetness!
For beginners, I would suggest starting their tasting journey as follows (for rum up to 60 euros): First with Diplomatico Reserva (green bottle), then Millonario 15, then Centenario 20, then Zacapa 23, then Papa's Pilar 24 bourbon finish, then Plantation XO, then Quorhum 23, Diplomatico seleccion de familia and lastly (a bit more "heavy") Eldorado 15 new edition (let it aerate for 10-15 minutes before tasting, it has quite a bit of alcohol and covers the wonderful character, until then you can sniff it in a "bubble" glass), which for me is of similar quality to some rums that reach up to 120 euros.

Perfect rum guys, a little expensive but it's awesome, I think it has more to offer for the money, but it's ideal for an introduction to slightly better rums!

In taste, it is smooth and close to whiskey. Smooth and its finish is also smooth. However, it has a nice aroma. I prefer more intense ones like El Dorado 15, so this one didn't impress me

Very strong rum, in my subjective opinion it is better than diplomatico and zacapa. Amazing aroma, smooth finish.

Probably the best I have tried so far. Very smooth on the opening without any burning sensation in the throat, it wins you over with the first sip. Vanilla and caramel in balance, flavors of coconut and spices. Very long aftertaste that pushes you to the next sip. Pure sipping rum that should be consumed neat at room temperature to appreciate its value. The only negative is that the company has about 30 editions of Plantation, thus diluting its uniqueness.

Excellent taste, I tried it randomly during the summer and it won me over immediately....
To those who enjoy straight flavors, I believe it will pleasantly surprise them.

I drink rum amateurishly and the Plantation X.O. is by far the best I have ever tasted.
Intense flavors of vanilla, caramel, citrus, and coconut with alternating tastes that surprise.
Incredible aftertaste without any burning sensation in the throat.
It's worth every euro, best enjoyed neat, top-notch sipper.

I have been drinking rum and whiskey for years.. old amateur ones that have now become more mature.. I used to consider Diplomatico as the top in terms of quality-price ratio.. and I still hold it in high regard.. With Plantation, I realized that there is a higher level on the scale.. I believe that the extra 20 euros are worth the experience, which was the best thing I tasted this year
