Approximately 17 years after the nuclear disaster, Hope County in Montana has become almost unrecognizable. The nuclear winter and rains have affected the county, where colorful landscapes and lush vegetation have replaced the dullness and old structures of the area. In the new order of things, Hope faces a survivor group trying to dominate the rest at all costs in an environment of complete lawlessness. Amidst this harsh scenery, our hero tries—either alone or with allies—to rebuild the area from scratch, restore hope, and fight for survival.
