Perhaps the best choice in their category. Listen to good recordings and enjoy the music they offer you. Rich body (in the upper lows), excellent mids, and satisfying highs. They definitely deserve your attention if you are in this price range.

If you are looking for a very warm and bass-heavy headphone, then look no further. I upgraded to these from the audio technica m50x and in comparison, the M50x sound artificial and metallic, especially in the midrange. We're talking about a lot of bass, they have what we call consumer tuning but in the high-end world, it's something that people want. I used them with a dragonfly cobalt.

Amazing build quality, beautiful wood finish, extremely lightweight and comfortable on the head. Personally, I had an issue with the leather cushions, I found them small and shallow, causing discomfort after a while. Also, the mechanism on the headband makes you feel like they might fall off and is unstable on the head.
The cables are of high quality with great connectors until the fabric splitter, and then they become rubber.
The sound, I would say, is very warm, not analytical in any way. It also has plenty of bass and is slow. I don't know if it would appeal to audiophiles or people looking for a flat sound.
