The Stac Solar Stick Trap attracts flying insects with light and traps them on the cylinder’s sticky surface. It charges its rechargeable battery using sunlight and switches on automatically when light levels drop, operating for 4–6 hours depending on the charge. During the day, the solar panel needs direct exposure to sunlight.

It traps flies, mosquitoes, midges, moths, stink bugs, whiteflies, aphids, Mediterranean fruit flies and codling moths. When the cylinder is full, it can be replaced with a spare. The trap is intended for outdoor areas such as gardens and patios, and is also suitable for BBQs and camping.
