Henna is a plant-based product and can be used for hair dyeing. It is in powder form and is mixed with water or lemon juice to turn into a paste.

Instructions for Use

  • Tip 1: Apply the dye to hair that hasn't been washed for at least 2 days to avoid any redness and sensitivities, as the scalp's oils act as a protective barrier.

As someone who is allergic to hair dyes, I decided to try this one. Unfortunately, it does nothing to the hair. It just gives a very light color on the hair. It doesn't cover the white hairs, in short. For anyone who has a dark base and wants to maintain dark brown, it's better to buy pure red henna, called lawsonia. It's important that it says lawsonia! It turns the white hairs orange. First, apply this henna, and when you wash your hair, on wet hair, apply another henna called indigo. It should say only Indigo! This specific henna gives the black color. It comes and sticks on the orange and turns it black. Simple and beautiful with results!!!! My hair has become a very dark brown as if I have dyed it with professional dye, and it shines incredibly. Unfortunately, in Greece, not many people know about this process and we struggle. I read all this on foreign sites.

It gives a natural black color that lasts more than a month, without drying at all. However, it is a hassle to apply: it doesn't turn into mud, the product remains "grainy," and if you add more water, it just runs blue juice everywhere afterward. I used it to cover brownish-red dye, and it worked perfectly. I didn't expect anything different because natural henna is only red; the other henna colors are achieved with the addition of chemical dyes
