The RME Digiface AVB external professional audio interface connects a computer to an audio network using the AVB protocol and carries up to 256 audio channels. At 48 kHz / 24-bit, it supports up to 128 channels for recording and playback; at 96 kHz, it supports 64 channels, and at 192 kHz, 32 channels. It connects to the computer via USB, while the Gigabit Ethernet port supports 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s speeds.

The TotalMix FX digital mixer provides mixing and routing functions, as well as remote control via TotalMix Remote from iOS, PC, or Mac. DigiCheck software includes tools for measuring, testing, and analyzing digital audio streams. The headphone output supports monitoring, and the interface features Word Clock input and output.
