The processes of change in male identity, which have recently accelerated impressively revealing a more internal and private side of men, are becoming increasingly visible on a socio-cultural, familial, and personal level and are reflected in the structure and function of the family, in the couple's relationship, and in workplace and other social relationships.

The authors track the modern man on an unprecedented journey for our traditional stereotypes, as he silently sheds his armor and questions the one-dimensional image he had of himself and that others had of him.

The Laboratory for the Investigation of Human Relationships has been active in the field of mental health since 1983.
