    Inferior to my expectations. Average quality.
    If you place the kayak on it, it stands - it goes fine on a straight path.
    However, as soon as you make a maneuver, or pass over a pothole or obstacle or a gravel road (don't even get me started on sand), then the trailer folds and falls, and you are forced to lift the kayak by hand along with the base.
    It should have some kind of plate or mechanism that stabilizes it in an open position.
    Until this flaw is fixed, I do not recommend it.
