Very good construction, uniform cooking, easy to clean. The volume is an issue, although it stands upright for storage, the fact that the liquids from the ridged plate do not end up in the collector, and it has a very short power cord. Overall, however, it is quite good to very good as a whole.

The best toaster-grill I have tried. The flat bottom plate gives you the ability to cook whatever you want, not just meat. I have cooked everything from chicken on the top wavy plate to pancakes on the bottom flat plate. It cooks perfectly and quickly. Cleaning is very easy with a sponge, but you can also remove the plates if you want. The only thing I would like better is the non-slip bottom of the toaster. It's not very stable, but it's not terrible either. As for the quality of the thermostat, it's not the best, but it doesn't bother me either. It's worth its money and more.

I will agree with most of the previous reviews, but what concerned me was 1. the thermostat lever is a bit loose, although we don't move it as it permanently stays on max, 2. the height adjustment lever of the plates seems to be of slightly lower quality compared to the rest of the construction, 3. the drawers for storing liquids and fats open somewhat difficultly.

However, the overall image of the product shows that it is a quite sturdy construction, it looks professional, and it is also impressive how quickly it cooks.

As for the reliability of the resistors and the durability of the materials, it will be evident in the future.

Important, before using it for the first time, it needs to be preheated to max for at least 10 minutes (it says so in the instructions, which are not in Greek).

Positive: It is an excellent construction... high-quality temperature and on/off buttons... solid aluminum arms... high-quality plates... excellent stainless steel surfaces... sturdy and almost professional. Negative: Short cable... volume may be an issue (doesn't bother me)

We have had it for a while now and I can say that it is very well made and evenly toasts the sandwiches without burning or compressing them. It easily fits 4 sandwiches. Perhaps the on/off button could be of better quality and the cord could be longer. You will need a socket quite close, we're talking about half a meter long! There is no chance of getting burned during use, it has good insulation. We chose it because of the very good reviews on foreign websites and because Steba is German. However, it is not made in Germany, but made in China, like all the others... It can be stored upright, has an on/off button, one ribbed plate, one flat plate, a fat collector, removable plates of course, and a 180-degree opening. That's what we were looking for, that's what we found. It will show what it does with grilling meat, etc. I will update... Compared to a small one we had, it is much much much better! Time will tell...

We have been using it for 1 year and... Everything is fine! It grills perfectly and is as we bought it. It makes perfect toast and it is very convenient that the plates are washable! Also, they haven't had any issues! We have enjoyed it in the family. Of course, we rarely use the thermostat (it's a bit tricky or it's just me... maybe all of this type are like that!) because we keep it permanently on the highest setting. We haven't grilled steaks or anything else with bones yet!
Now, what is the difference with the "ECG KG 300 Deluxe Grill Toaster with Removable Plates 2000W Gray" I don't know!!! Is it in the price?
