Very good for its price, the base. I have put 32-inch curved ones on top, even though it says maximum 27-inch, and they have no issue at all.
They almost touch the wall when you fold them and even in full extend with 32-inch ones, they don't bend at all.
Yes, it doesn't have any clip or channel for cables but I easily put the cables on the arm with velcro.
