Athena Dasiou-Yiannou is an educator, author, and publisher with a rich body of work primarily for children. She has been repeatedly awarded in literary competitions but considers her greatest prize to be the smile and love of children when they read her books.

Athena Kontogianni studied French, Japanese, and English literature. She obtained a degree in Iconography from the Iconography School of Georgios Kordis. She has participated in exhibitions and is also involved in mural painting and book illustration.
