The downsides are that the suede requires some attention regarding stains and they can be slippery on smooth surfaces, especially when wet (marble, tiles, metal, etc.). They are a bit narrow in the toes due to their shape, so if you are on the edge, for example, with size 45, get size 46.

I would buy it again for everyday use (not in black) only for 40 to 45 euros... it looks great in blue and gray... today (9/4/2020) I threw away the Merrell shoes (although I had worn them out)... literally... which I replaced with the Caterpillar Opine Black (bought for 54 euros and found them for 51 euros, which I will buy again soon for a second pair)... the Caterpillar Opine shoes are of much higher quality but lack in color variety... final conclusion?... all that glitters is not gold... the Merrell shoes are indeed very stylish and quite reliable... but in no case... cost... quality... performance... they are not worth 60 or 70 plus euros that they ask for... without exaggerating, if the Merrell shoes reach a stable value at 40 euros... then they will be value for money... so be careful because with less money than the 60 or 70 euros they ask for... you can find higher quality shoes...!
