Overall, I am satisfied with this Airfryer. I had the smaller one before, but because we are a family of 4, its capacity was not enough. Indeed, it makes the food very tasty and quickly. Its amazing feature is that you can heat up pizzas, leftover pies, and make them as if they just came out of the oven. Even french fries can be reheated and come out fresh! It is ideal for all children's snacks! However, its basket and overall the tray rusted in a very short time! The tray has developed some bubbles, which also happened in the smaller model I had, and then it peeled off in that area!! Philips, of course, acknowledged the defect and I am waiting for replacement parts, but it is definitely a hassle to transport it to the service center (it is very heavy) and to be without an Airfryer for several days. It concerns me that such an expensive Airfryer rusts like this, and the same thing happened to the previous one I had. I don't even put it in the dishwasher and, of course, I don't scrub it with a sponge!

Furthermore, as the owner of the Xiaomi airfryer (we didn't even have a kitchen at home), we upgraded to this one due to its size.

I will start with the negatives.

The basket is SMALL. It claims to be 7.5 liters, but the difference is in height, not width.

In simple terms, it can fit 2 steaks, while the Xiaomi 2 can fit the same amount and is half the size.

It does not have a grill rack to put additional meat on top, you have to buy the accessories separately and they cost 30-40€ each, while the Xiaomi comes with its own grill rack.

The good thing is that the Chinese sell a set of 10-15 universal accessories for 30€ all together, so Phillips is out of the question. To get all the Phillips accessories, you need 500€.

The technology that supposedly removes the fat is a gimmick, it simply has cuts and the fat goes down, if it had a grill rack and you cooked on top of it, the fat would still go down.

Now for the positives.

Due to its height, it can fit more potatoes than the Xiaomi, but you should never put meat and potatoes together.

The potatoes need frequent stirring like in all airfryers, the more you put, the worse the results.

Again, due to its height, it can fit a small chicken, bread (not long) and muffins, etc. (if you buy the extra basket and so on).

It cooks everything an airfryer should cook, exactly the same as the 80€ Xiaomi, I didn't expect anything better anyway. Everything is juicy, everything is perfect.

I consider it expensive, it deceives you, but it is small for its price.

As for the construction, it appears sturdy and of good quality.

If you want the whole family to eat, forget it, something else will have to be cooked elsewhere, as I mentioned earlier, it can fit 2 steaks, with difficulty 5 chops. In other words, meat with potatoes means potatoes in the airfryer and meat cooked elsewhere, otherwise you will eat them cold.

I think it is expensive for its price, it definitely needs extra accessories, so calculate an extra 30-40€ and a month of waiting from China.

As for cleaning, there are 5 things that need to be cleaned after each cooking session, if you have a dishwasher, everything is fine, otherwise it requires scrubbing since we are dealing with oils.

I had never used an air fryer before. I have had it for 2 days and I am conducting tests (mainly for cooking time). The fresh potatoes smell like classic fried ones and they are tasty and crispy in flavor. I didn't even stir them. I also grilled 200g patties. They cooked nicely on the inside, crispy on the outside (without using a thermometer). It takes about the same cooking time as other utensils for these two foods I tried (I don't have an opinion on others yet), but there is no mess in the kitchen afterwards. That's very important! In terms of smell, it's nothing like frying, of course, but for me, it needs an extractor fan above. Checking or flipping the food can also be done in the oven, so it's okay from that perspective.

In terms of capacity, the basket is very large!! It's perfect for a family. It also has a nice design.

It only has one downside. There are no additional accessories available in Greece, and it didn't come with any manual except for one with sketches and some recipes for those who cannot download the Nutriu application on their phones. However, the customer service over the phone is helpful and polite, so I got the information through email.

In general, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! It's a good machine. It's worth its money.

This is the first time I buy an air fryer, so the rating is not compared to another brand or previous model. I give it a 4/5 rating due to its size and weight, as well as its small capacity (although it is one of the largest sizes of the company).

The size of the basket is satisfactory, if I had bought a smaller one, I would have regretted it. However, considering the overall size of the device, the basket size is very small.
You can fry for 4 people, but during cooking, you need to stir the food 2-3 times (to cook evenly since you can't spread it out due to lack of space).
The potatoes become nice and crispy, but if you are only buying it for potatoes, it's not worth the money. If you plan on cooking other foods as well, then it makes sense. You can easily reheat food in 3-4 minutes... bake anything from pizza to desserts... but you will need to purchase different types of baskets, which are only available abroad and are quite expensive.
The detachable basket of this model makes it very easy to clean.
The cooking time for the food is approximately the same as in the oven, however, preheating is not necessary (so you save about 10 minutes) and it is quite powerful, so some foods cook faster than in the oven.
During use, you will need from none to 1-2 tablespoons of oil... it will make the food nice and crispy, but dry since it cooks with air and without fats! And that's the point... for example, you will eat potatoes with chicken, but it won't be like what you're used to in the oven, it will be healthier though.
In general, I would recommend buying it only if:
1. You have the willingness to explore and try all the things you can cook in this device.
2. You don't have a powerful oven or air in your oven.
3. You want to reduce the fats in certain dishes.
Under no circumstances should you buy the smaller size unless you are cooking for one person (for example, for 2 people if you want to bake chicken with potatoes together, the basket of this particular model is okay. Otherwise, for more people, you will need to bake the potatoes first, which takes about 35 minutes, and then the chicken for another 35 minutes... so you will need 1 hour, the same as in the oven)

To avoid repeating what everyone else said in their positive comments, it is exactly as they said. It truly is amazing!!!! It has made our lives so much easier and the best part is that we can take something directly from the fridge, even if it's frozen, and put it straight in to cook. I don't have to wait for it to defrost or leave it in the fridge, it's ready in just 20 to 30 minutes at most, unless it's a whole chicken, which of course takes a bit longer, but everything comes out so tender and juicy!!!!! Finally, no more oven and cleaning!!! No more greasiness!!!!

I deducted one star because while it excels in all aspects of cleaning and the screen, we have an issue.
I have the smaller device and its difference is that the small one has a solid bottom with holes for air circulation, it's non-stick, and it comes out with the bottom basket so it doesn't drip. It's also easy to clean and so convenient!!
The larger one has a finer screen and it's not as non-stick, I would say. The basket doesn't come out with the bottom, so you have to use tongs to avoid burning yourself and it makes everything messy. The bottom is also not as non-stick because it gets stuck if I don't put it in water immediately, whereas the small one doesn't have this issue!
I only clean two pieces in the small one!!
I clean four pieces in the large one!!
I don't understand why they have to make changes when something has already been successful!!!
