Very good product for the intended job, which is to sharpen or restore a dull chisel, but only up to that point, not to make it razor sharp.... Basically, I bought it for the honing system and not for the stone, which is for general sharpening, just to cut. You simply place the system on a glass surface with fine sandpaper and make your chisels shave!
Πολύ καλό προϊόν για τη δουλειά που προορίζεται, δηλαδή να τροχίσεις ή να επαναφέρεις ένα στομωμένο σκαρπέλο αλλά μέχρι εκεί, όχι να το κάνεις ξυράφι....Βασικά το αγόρασα για το σύστημα της κλίσης και όχι για την πέτρα που είναι για γενικης χρήσης τρόχισμα τύπου ξεστομώνω, / τροχίζω απλά να κόβει,
Απλά τοποθετείς το συστηματάκι σε μια επιφάνεια από γυαλί με ψιλό γυαλόχαρτο και κάνεις τα σκαρπέλα σου να ξυρίζουν!!
Definitely does its job (sharpened all my chisels and it was very effective). The stone doesn't live up to its Stanley name. It's quite likely for the chisel to tilt and not roll vertically, so it requires attention. The wheels seem to be the weak point of the device, but they haven't shown any problems so far.
Σίγουρα κάνει τη δουλειά του (ακόνισα όλα μου τα σκαρπέλα και ήταν πολύ αποτελεσματικό). Η πέτρα δεν ανταποκρίνεται στο όνομα της Stanley. Είναι αρκετά πιθανό να πάρει κλίση το σκαρπέλο και να μην τροχίζεις κάθετα οπότε θέλει προσοχή. Τα ροδάκια φαίνεται ότι είναι το αδύνατο σημείο της συσκευής αλλά δεν έχουν εμφανίσει κάποιο πρόβλημα μέχρι τώρα.
It is quite good as you can adjust the angle for sharpening with great ease. Of course, it is not suitable for very wide blades, but nevertheless, if you know a little about sharpening, you can sharpen even large blades. I give it 4 stars because sometimes the guide with which you sharpen wobbles.
