Description

Patchwork Doodle is a roll-and-write version of Patchwork, in which each player has their own 9x9 grid to fill in during the game. Each player starts by drawing a unique polyomino card from the initial deck and then drawing it on their sheet. In each round, players place a number of polyomino cards in a circle and then place the rabbit between two cards. In each round, someone rolls the die, moves the rabbit forward, and then removes the card indicated by the rabbit. Each player must draw the polyomino indicated by this card on their grid. Once a certain number of cards have been played, the round ends, players score points, and then more cards are placed for the next round. Each player has four special actions available during the game: You can choose to draw the card before or after the selected card, you can cut a polyomino into two pieces before adding a piece to your grid, you can fill a 1x1 space on your grid, and you can perform one of the above actions a second time.
