I bought a PC recently with this processor (I didn't get it from Skroutz) I have to say that it does an incredible job and is excellent for its price, it's even better than Ryzen 7

Amazing CPU, first time on Ryzen after Intel i5 4440 and various others, very reasonable. With the stock cooler, it reached 75 degrees without me touching anything, and I don't know why and I don't want to. What I noticed is that the volts are running at 1.435 and the cores at 4.375MHz and the 6, and that's why it raises temperatures. I put another cooler, the Be Quiet Pure Rock with two 120mm fans, and it dropped 14 degrees, a big change, and I calmed down. For 1.5 years that I've had it, it works flawlessly and steadily. Good purchases!

I've had it for 2 months now and I can say that it's quite good. I only have one issue with the temperatures, meaning that when I put it under full load, it reaches 67 degrees, but I've also experienced it hitting 84 during a heavy game (Cyberpunk 2077). At this moment, it is a secondary choice since there is the i5 10th generation, and I believe it is cheaper and has similar performance. When I bought it, it cost 180, and I went straight for this one because I generally prefer Ryzen over Intel. I believe that with a good aftermarket cooler, it could be a beast. Finally, Ryzen processors are generally more open to overclocking, and you can safely overclock using the application that AMD specifically recommends, Ryzen Master

Let's start with what I have as a build: motherboard gigabyte aorus b450 rev 1, graphics card gigabyte 1650, and that's because the 1660 wasn't enough for me for those wondering why the 1650, vengeance memory 16 gigabytes at 3000, and of course the 3600x. Now, the performance of the processor with all this on it, the processor runs flawlessly, it doesn't raise crazy temperatures in COD Warzone, it's at 20% with Opera and Discord open in the background. I've had it since the summer and it hasn't given me a single problem or freeze. I believe it's the best there is for this money. I easily recommend someone to buy it with their eyes closed. That's it from me

Flawless processor for its price, as the benchmarks say. Since I saw some comments regarding the choice of the 3600X or the 3600, I should note that once you overclock the processor, its warranty is voided. Don't ask how the company knows, but obviously, they have their way. The good thing about the X version is that it is factory overclocked and the warranty is valid as long as you don't tamper further with the overclock. As for the stock cooler, it doesn't go above 70 degrees if you have a properly ventilated case.

It runs very well and does not seem to raise in temperature even when I have many applications or games open. The only downside is that the stock fan is very noisy, although it maintains a good temperature. Of course, you don't buy a processor for the cooler but for its performance. However, I would recommend to anyone who gets the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X to also get a CPU cooler or earplugs :P

I give it 5 stars because the temperature has a lot of fluctuations, especially in heavy games; personally, it has reached up to 80 degrees for me. Finally, my PC is: RAM 16GB 3200MHz, 1660 Ti Gaming OC, CPU and PSU: Corsair TX750M. Anyway, I have been quite satisfied with its performance (also, I have it with the stock cooler).

It is a very good processor, that is undeniable, but there is quite a large price difference compared to the plain 3600, and their performance difference is 3-5% stock, and the same if you overclock both. If you know about computers in general (which if you don't, you have no reason to look at a separate processor and not a pre-built, so to be here, you know something), then you should go for the plain 3600 and overclock it. Even with the stock cooler under everyday use (not rendering and benchmarks), you can achieve better performance, and if you spend 30 euros on a cooler, then overall it comes out cheaper (at least as of 17/6/20), and you can achieve better performance than the 3600x

Many years a fan of Intel, now with this processor AMD made a comeback. It's worth every penny down to the last cent. In games, it doesn't differ from the 3700 which costs 100€ more (a friend of mine got it and they did comparisons) you don't even gain 5 frames, and compared to the simple 3600 the difference in Greece is 10€ so it's small to go for the simple 3600. Overall very satisfied, before I had an I5 4570.

I have been using this processor for about 7 months and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I paired it with Vengeance LPX 3200 memory and it works flawlessly with an old Corsair water cooler at 65 degrees and its speed ranging from 4.1-4.4GHz under load and gaming. A very powerful processor for those who are into gaming and light video/image editing at an amateur level that do not require the absolute rendering times of 12-16 core processors. In games, I don't have any particular issues even though the graphics card I use is a 1060 6GB; most run well above 70fps at a resolution of 2560x1080.

Well, the processor was purchased very recently and I must say that it has made me look good in terms of gaming... The reason I give it 4 stars is that for a €200 processor and a 3.8GHz clock speed, it should definitely have 8 cores and thus 16 threads... But since it does its job, I have nothing else to say... I recommend it without reservation, but for someone who wants full rendering and editing use, I suggest they spend an additional €80 and get the Ryzen 7 3700X just to have that advantage of 2 extra cores... Happy gaming!

Flawless processor, I have it combined with a dual radiator liquid cooling and it is really very quiet. Together with the Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super, it runs almost everything on ultra at 60fps.
Despite coming from an Intel 7600K, the Ryzen 5 3600X is far better in everything, especially in price.

Update: In Doom Eternal, together with the RTX 2080 Super, the processor runs it very comfortably with settings maxed out: Ultra Nightmare 4K 60 fps.

I would give it 4 stars only for the stock cooler (which is inadequate for such a beast of a processor) but I think it's unfair since the processor is being evaluated. I'll tell you one thing: Only 200 euros for a processor that matches the performance of the Intel i9 9900K at 500 euros... The only downside is that even without overclocking it, you will need to get an aftermarket cooler to avoid issues with noise and high temperatures. I was completely satisfied with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Black Edition (without OC - personally, I don't believe it's necessary).

The CPU is on an Asus X570 motherboard (Gaming F), it runs significantly better than the previous CPU (6700K), I have seen a big difference in multitasking and also a good difference in games. There are no FPS drops and I didn't see such high temperatures as many say, it's on a Kraken X62 AIO and I saw max temps of 63 degrees (at room temperature of 24-27).

The PBO works quite well at 4.35 with an average of 1.35-1.37, however, I prefer manual overclocking at 4.2 with 1.25 volts, I couldn't reach 4.3 even with 1.45 volts with manual overclocking. The CPU is the best value for money for gaming because the difference from the 3700X is 4-5 FPS.

Update: with a BIOS upgrade, now in manual overclocking it goes to 4250 at 1.29 and 4300 at 1.36, it doesn't go higher, PBO remains superior in games, but in overall performance, 4300 is slightly better!! For anyone who doesn't care about overclocking, just download Ryzen Master, enable PBO, and it runs everything perfectly

The 3rd generation Ryzen has wiped Intel off the map. It doesn't need overclocking, it's a beast out of the box. It requires a pretty good cooling system, reaching 70 degrees with a 240mm water cooler. It also needs attention when choosing a motherboard; a BIOS update may be necessary, as was the case for me (Asus Prime X470 Pro). It didn't recognize the processor at all. After the update, everything works like clockwork. I am very satisfied.

The CPU is simply perfect. I have no complaints. As for the cooler, it is not good at all. I have installed an NZXT Kraken M22 liquid cooler and it works great.

Very powerful processor for its price. And with a mild overclock, it reaches very strong speeds. The cooler is good, but buying a better one is a must

A very good CPU for all-around use. Ideal for gaming but also for productivity workloads at an amateur level. Its only drawback is that it is not as VFM as the plain R5 3600.

  • Amazing CPU, first time on Ryzen after Intel i5 4440 and various others, very reasonable.
