The Eti Thermapen IR digital cooking thermometer combines infrared scanning to measure surface temperatures with a built-in probe for measuring the internal temperature of food, liquids and semi-liquid products. Infrared measurement starts by pointing the thermometer and pressing the scan button. Accuracy is ±1 °C for infrared measurements and ±0.4 °C with the probe.

The LCD rotates 360° for easier reading from different angles. A motion sensor automatically activates the device, while the probe switches off automatically. The fold-out probe is 11 cm long.
