They replaced it for me and the second one, while boiling the water, the function does not stop... It makes a lot of noise compared to other kettles I had. As stainless steel, it is expected to be hot and you can't touch it, but that is understandable. Also, with water at the max level and not more, it overflowed from everywhere when it boiled. However, it boils the water in a satisfactory time
