Con@ctivity 3.0: Smart Control

The cooktop interacts with the extractor. The devices communicate with each other via WiFi. As soon as the cooktop is activated or deactivated, the extractor responds automatically.

Cleaning protection for safe stain removal

With a touch of a finger, you can deactivate the cooktop for 20 seconds. All settings remain as they are. The operating time is clearly displayed on the timer. Utensils can be moved and the cooktop can be cleaned without obstacles and without changing the settings.

TwinBooster for fast heating

With the exclusive TwinBooster function, you can combine the power of two cooking zones into one, if needed. Or you can distribute the induction power individually for even more flexible cooking.

Recall function

If you accidentally deactivate your cooktop, if you restart it within 10 seconds, all power levels and previously selected time settings will still be available. Your cooking process continues without interruption.

Temperature maintenance function

With this function, you can keep your dishes warm in an ideal way, regardless of the quantity. By smartly monitoring the temperature at the base of the cookware, the food is kept at serving temperature without burning.

Timer

You can independently set the duration of the cooking zones to automatically deactivate or use the timer independently of the cooktop's functions.

Permanent cookware recognition

If a cookware is already placed on one of the cooking zones, the numeric keypad is automatically activated as soon as the cooktop is turned on. Therefore, there is no need to manually activate the cooking zones.

Overheating protection and error monitoring

Each cooking zone is equipped with overheating protection. This automatically switches off the heating element of the cooking zone in case of extreme use, before the ceramic glass or other components overheat. If liquid or other objects accidentally come into contact with the surface, the cooktop also automatically switches off. Therefore, you are always protected from unintentional power adjustments.

Safety and system lock

The safety lock prevents accidental adjustments of power levels during cooking. The system lock protects against accidental or unauthorized activation, e.g. by children.

This function can be activated while the device is turned off.

Stop & Go: Safety advantage

With the Stop&Go function, all cooking zones can be reduced to level one with the touch of a button. This way, the stove can be left unattended for a short period of time without the food being overcooked or burned. When you return to the stove, all burners are reactivated at their previous level, again with the touch of a button.

Focus entirely on cooking: with Con@ctivity, your extractor hood knows exactly what to do. As soon as you switch the hob on or off, the extractor hood reacts automatically. The extraction power adjusts automatically depending on what is happening on the hob, always creating a pleasant atmosphere. The devices communicate with each other via WiFi. Con@ctivity allows you to integrate the extractor hood and hob into Miele@home.

Greater cooking comfort: with the Stop & Go function, all cooking zones can be reduced to level 1 with the touch of a button, allowing you to leave the hob unattended for a while. The keep warm function keeps the food at serving temperature. Additionally, by setting the timer function, the cooking zone turns off automatically once the time has elapsed. With the Recall function, your settings are saved for 10 seconds.

PowerFlex cooking zones are the ideal solution for any occasion – Individual cookware and even unusually large pans fit correctly for perfect results. Additionally, PowerFlex technology offers significant time savings, as with the booster function, with output up to 7.3 kW, incredibly fast heating is achieved.
