  • I've had it for 1.5 years, and it hasn't caused any problems. I cut about 50 kilos a week (shop), and it continues just fine. Larger potatoes need to be cut in half!!!

  • I bought it before I saw the reviews. Surprisingly, so far it has done its job properly and has cut correctly. The problem has to do with durability over time. Its body, apart from being made of thin plastic, is not at all solid and bends easily under the pressure it receives for cutting. Additionally, the point where the lever attaches to the body of the cutter with a plastic pin also has several millimeters of 'play' and does not move linearly up and down. It is given that it is a matter of time for it to break and become unusable.

It broke on the second use. The potato bent the metal cutter as it went through. No, I didn't make any mistake, it was a small potato. It's not worth its money.

It is the third potato cutter I have bought at this price range. In the end, it doesn't cut the potatoes. And just to clarify, I have understood very well how to properly cut the potato in such a device. Fortunately, I paid a small amount to buy it. It seems that the biggest problem lies in the quality of the blades of these devices, which bend or come off when you apply more pressure to pass the potato through! Ultimately, what matters (before we end up with a professional potato cutter that starts at €90 but does the job perfectly) is the very good (strong and sharp) blades and the 100% metal construction.
