  • A bit expensive as it cost 50% of the price of the cheap grill it was installed on.
    It was installed very easily on a Bormann 44cm.
    Drilling with a small drill bit on an electric screwdriver to start, and then gradually larger drill bits until the spit with the threads goes through. You secure it with the special nut by tightening it onto the threads on the back side and you're done. It doesn't go anywhere.
    On the Bormann, which had sheet metal as thick as aluminum foil... the process took barely 5 minutes, of which 4 and a half were spent changing drill bits.
    It works just fine and helps control the temperature with the lid closed.

    It makes the grill look more expensive than it really is.

    Well made.
