It features 10 programmable buttons, Omron switches rated for 50 million clicks, and dynamic 4-zone RGB lighting, offering ultimate control and ergonomics through the iCUE software.

Optical Sensor Pixart PMW3391

The Nightsword features the custom optical sensor Pixart PMW3391, which offers a native resolution of up to 18,000 DPI. Its technology allows micro-adjustment of sensitivity in 1 DPI increments, providing the ability for absolute customization. With a tracking speed of 400 IPS and acceleration up to 50G, it ensures pixel-perfect targeting regardless of hand movement speed. Additionally, the Surface Calibration Tuning Utility analyzes the mousepad surface and automatically adjusts the sensor’s response to optimize tracking accuracy.

Smart Weight & Balance System

It features an advanced weight management system that automatically detects the center of gravity in real time through the software. It includes two sets of weights and six placement points, offering a total of 120 different distribution combinations. The total weight of the mouse can be adjusted from 119g to 141g, allowing the user to customize inertia and movement feel. The CORSAIR iCUE software visually displays the mass distribution, making it easier to optimize balance for the user's specific grip type.

Omron Switches & Programming

Equipped with ultra-durable Omron switches, the mouse is certified for 50 million clicks, guaranteeing long-term reliability and consistent actuation feel. It offers 10 fully programmable buttons, which can be configured to execute complex macros or key remaps for in-game advantage. The built-in memory (Onboard Profile Storage) allows you to save your settings profiles directly to the hardware, making the mouse ready for use on any system without the need for active background software.

Ergonomics & iCUE Connectivity

Its design strictly follows ergonomic standards for right-handed users, ideal for Palm Grip type hold, with a special anti-slip rubber coating inspired by professional sports equipment. It supports dynamic 4-zone RGB backlighting with unlimited color and effect options. Through the CORSAIR iCUE ecosystem, full lighting synchronization with other peripherals is achieved. Communication with the computer is via a wired USB connection with selectable Report Rate at 1000Hz, 500Hz, 250Hz, or 125Hz for zero latency.

Very powerful mouse, it is a bit heavy and a bit bulky though, it's not for all hands, it has to suit you.
On the downside, I would mention the price, because for much less you can find the same performance with the same quality in other brands.

As a former owner of the Corsair Sabre RGB, I decided to go back to Corsair. For me, the Nightsword is a "copy" of the Logitech G502 by Corsair. Much more comfortable than the Sabre. It is larger and "supports" the whole palm, resulting in the pain in my wrist going away (the Sabre was small and I rested my whole hand on my wrist).
Also, the position for the thumb, which has a protrusion, is very convenient. The RGB is very nice and in War Thunder ground realistic, which I play, the sniper button, although generally very gimmicky, helps me because long range aiming requires fine movements and I generally play with high DPI.
Now about the weights, I have put them in but I am not a competitive gamer to say whether you gain or lose something. I put them in because I want to feel it more "solid" when I move it.

In 1 year, the scroll wheel clicks broke and in 3 years the left button stopped working.

Other than that, I loved the mouse but I definitely felt that it didn't last at all compared to other mice I've had in the past.

The mouse is amazing for the little time I've had it, especially in combination with a keyboard from the same company. However, it is designed for large hands, and if you have a small palm, the side buttons may not be comfortable for you. Other than that, it's perfect and takes a little time to get used to it.

For medium-sized hands, it is a bit large. I, for example, cannot comfortably reach the snipe button. However, it has a sturdy construction, definitely durable, it doesn't lose a single millimeter, the dpi can be adjusted to suit all tastes and preferences, plenty of RGB settings... Nothing is missing, basically. If it fits your size, go ahead without fear.

Good mouse with a quite interesting design (for right-handed people) of medium size I would say, RGB settings through iCue for every taste, weights to bring it to the ideal weight you want and finally its cable has this coating that prevents it from tangling. As for its price, €75 is a lot, a mouse at €40 - €50 has nothing to envy, however, I chose it simply because I liked it
