The Radial McBoost is a high-performance microphone signal amplifier designed to raise the output of a standard dynamic microphone for enhanced transient response and to boost the low-output signal of ribbon microphones. It converts the signal to a workable level for mixing consoles or preamps that do not provide enough gain.

The 100% discrete Class-A designed circuit begins with a dual-transistor J-FET circuit to produce up to 26dB gain without introducing noise, coloration, or artificial sound. Each individual transistor is carefully measured and sorted in batches to comply with its design specifications, ensuring optimal performance.

The construction from 14-gauge steel with I-beam design is exceptionally durable, in a book-end style, creating a protective zone around the buttons and switches to withstand even the harshest conditions.
