The Laowa 7.5mm f/2 is an ultra-wide-angle prime lens for cameras with a Micro Four Thirds sensor. It has an f/2 aperture and a 110° angle of view. Its optical design includes three low-dispersion elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and two aspherical elements to reduce circular distortion and increase sharpness. The Frog Eye coating on the front elements protects them from water and dust.

The manual focusing system features electronic contacts, a CPU chip and a motor, allowing the camera to control the aperture and record EXIF information. The lens also supports focus magnification and comes with a petal-shaped lens hood, which helps reduce flare and ghosting. It is used for architectural, landscape and astrophotography, as well as with drones and gimbal video setups.
