The Verbatim Keypad Secure USB stick protects files with 256-bit AES hardware encryption and a built-in keypad for entering a PIN of up to 12 digits. Encryption is applied in real time during writing, while the PIN is not stored on the computer or in system memory. After 20 failed PIN attempts, the drive must be reformatted.

The USB-C connection supports data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s and is compatible with USB 2.0. The drive can also be connected to a TV. Nero Backup software lets you create backups and schedule automatic backups; it is not compatible with Mac OS.
