    It is a small low-profile (short) flash drive suitable for car audio systems mp3 as because it does not protrude there is essentially no risk of breaking the flash drive or even worse damaging the usb port of the audio system with careless movement (accident). Additionally, it does NOT heat up during use (helps that it is usb2), which is also important for this use. Finally, it is 32gb so format it to FAT32 to be compatible with more audio systems (which few see more than 32gb as then you need eFAT, NTFS formatting which most car mp3s do not recognize).

    For usb-2 it is quite fast, achieving the following performances for large files as I measured them roughly:
    - seq read: around 20mb/sec
    - seq write: 10-12mb/sec

    For keys, I would not recommend it as it is plastic and needs a string to be attached to them (which can be cut), while there are better, larger, and faster metal ones that are suitable for playing rough with keys in your pocket. However, for a car mp3 player, speed is not a major concern as you won't be writing songs to it often, right? On the other hand, not heating up (like this one) and being "short" is more important than performance. So for this purpose, it is a good choice. I have had it for over a year but haven't used it much to know about its durability over time, but the fact that it doesn't heat up probably statistically helps prevent it from easily getting damaged.

    P.S. Attach a long ribbon (string) of a lively color to it so that it doesn't get lost as it is very small.
