The Zhiyun-Tech TransMount Quick Setup Adapter is a quick release adapter for instant connection of mini tripods and monopods to the Crane 3-Lab or WEEBILL LAB gimbal. It consists of two parts—one screws onto the tripod/monopod and the other onto the gimbal tripod base, and they simply snap together. To remove them, you just need to pull back a collar. The adapter eliminates the need to screw and unscrew a tripod/monopod every time. With a 1/4"-20 male/female design, the adapter can also be used independently from the gimbal for various accessories, such as monitors.

Two units are recommended for the WEEBILL LAB, as the WEEBILL offers two positions for mounting a mini tripod—one on the top and one on the bottom. With an adapter attached to each of the two positions, your mini tripod can easily be moved between the two for switching between standard mode and underslung mode.
