Amazing overdrive, very different from the description: inspired by the tube screamer in terms of being able to boost the mids, and that's where the similarities end. It has 3 modes, the first being the most "wild" in the style of OCD, with increased gain that reaches a nice distortion on the edge of metal, while at low levels it's like the OCD, a Marshall-inspired sound. The second mode is a "clean" or not, depending on the gain boost, with a huge volume reserve, so much so that I wonder if the amplifier's input will be okay.

Finally, the third mode claims to have asymmetric clipping and resembles a TS, only it's a mix of a Boss SD-1 with a fuzz; quite unique but works amazingly for boosting high gain - it's the way I use it the most with a high gain amplifier, with gain at 0, volume at 12 o'clock, and tone at 12, and it boosts nicely on the dirty channel, but also provides a slight crunch sound on the clean channel without changing the volume.

The pedal's great advantage is the tone, very different from any other pedal, with usefulness across almost the entire range. At 0, the bass is pronounced, at 9 o'clock it's almost completely colorless, in this range up to 12 it boosts the mids without cutting the bass - reminiscent of the Bluesbreaker, as we said, and from 12 onwards it boosts the mids, cutting the bass. From there on, it also boosts the treble. Many interesting combinations.

Furthermore, it has very good build quality, is very quiet compared to others I have tried, does not affect the signal at all when it is bypassed, and even if the switch is held down, it keeps the pedal open until released, useful for a quick volume boost, or depending on what one might think.

    Very satisfied
