The blades undergo 36 hours of heat treatment and are hardened under 8 tons of pressure for 24 hours. Their glossy finish reduces friction with the water.

The side water rails guide the flow and limit lateral blade movement. The flap-shaped tip adds thrust at the end of the kicking motion, while the C curve transfers power along the entire length of the blade and allows it to return immediately.
