Top specs
See allOverall, users appreciate the durable stainless steel construction and generous capacity, and often praise its attractive design and easy cleaning. They also mention that it doesn’t retain odors and that the straw makes drinking easier, although some children find it difficult to sip through the straw or open the spout.
After almost 3 months of use by a 2-year-old, it has some wear and tear... I would like something more durable for stainless steel... it definitely doesn't compare to any plastic.... Nevertheless, I believe we will manage with it for now.
After only 2 months of minimal use, rust appeared on the bottom of the bottle, which is unacceptable for a stainless steel product that is intended for use by children. In another bottle from the same company, the straw cracked from the beginning because the child was biting it, and after 6 months of use, the straw disintegrated and the designs had already started to fade.
The only positive thing is the nice design and the fact that it holds a sufficient amount of water.
Otherwise, I would not buy it again, due to the appearance of rust in just 2 months of use, as well as the poor quality of the plastic parts.
High durability. The plastic spout never gets moldy, it just eventually breaks and needs replacement.
This is the 4th one we have bought!
The strongest water bottle I have bought for my children. It is the third in a row that I am purchasing. Aside from the fact that the designs have faded, we still use it even though the shape of the first one I bought a year ago has been altered due to the many times it has fallen. IT IS THE ONLY WATER BOTTLE THAT DOES NOT OPEN AND DOES NOT LEAK WATER INSIDE THE BAGS!! and it holds a satisfactory amount of water for children who drink a lot of water.
Nice, sturdy but with the first drop from the little one's hands, I made a crack from the inside, under the lid, resulting in it leaking when turned upside down. I expected it to be more durable.
Very beautiful, just not for a very small child. It requires a bit of strength to be able to drink with this specific straw
It has constant leaks, plus the material in the straw wears out from chewing and the child logically swallows it. Poor quality and design
For the 17€ that I bought it, I expected it to keep the water cold during the summers with the heatwaves, but it doesn't.
The water bottle after a while fell and broke the mouthpiece, it became useless immediately. Otherwise, it's okay.
After many falls, it has dents everywhere, while its colors and designs have now disappeared.
The first one they sent me didn't suck the straw, it had a hole. The replacement was immediate, we have the second one for about 3 months and it has taken a lot of beating, it hasn't suffered ANYTHING!
One of the most beautiful bottles, but unfortunately I have only bad things to say:
1: Although it is metallic, it does not keep the water temperature well.
2: The spout, after 3 months of use, looks like you can see in the photo. Unacceptable quality of the spout - both in terms of quality and shape.
3: When you wash it, it never completely dries. It retains moisture around the opening due to its shape - again, poor design.
4: I would prefer the spout not to be exposed to dirt. I would like it to be covered in some way.
5: While it doesn't leak from the screw cap, if the child turns it upside down, it drips from the straw normally. It is not suitable for small hands
Very beautiful and the straw sucks very well. It also comes with an extra straw.
Only it is not thermos as it is mentioned. It is just stainless steel. It does not keep the water cool.
Also, the mouthpiece breaks easily with falls. At first, my 2.5-year-old couldn't open it by herself, after 2 weeks she managed. If the bottle is turned upside down when the mouthpiece is open, the water leaks.
Positives: it holds plenty of water, easy to clean, comfortable to drink water from (I tried it myself), my 3-year-old can open it by himself without any difficulty, it doesn't smell.
Negatives: it doesn't retain the water temperature at all, it leaks when drying, the spout is exposed, and I consider it a bit expensive for what it offers.
Beautiful design, user-friendly because no matter how much the little one chews, they cannot damage the external opening of the mouth.
Very good construction and quality-price ratio. Also, excellent aesthetics and material quality. However, it does not dry well, as water is retained inside, in the ring formed at the top.
It is very wide and does not fit in the car compartments or in the school bag, so it is not convenient for outside the house.
Perfect water bottle!! It doesn't smell. Satisfactory size so that the water doesn't run out quickly and you don't have to search to find to buy to refill. And the straw works perfectly fine. Even my child (4 years old) and I, who tried it, can easily drink water through the straw without the child struggling. Thankfully, I didn't pay attention to those comments. Nice handle and wonderful design.
Nice water bottle but on the third day, it broke when it fell from the child's hands, specifically the plastic part that you drink water from. For a product intended for children, I expected more durability.
The water bottle has quality characteristics but mentioning their disadvantage doesn't make sense, which is why I wouldn't recommend it for purchase. To put it simply, when you suck to drink water, you suck in more air than water. It is tiring for adults, let alone for children. Honestly, we threw it away. When the straw is not watertight due to a moving mouthpiece (in this case) or due to any other construction characteristic, it should be mentioned so that the consumer knows what they are buying. What a shame.
I bought it so that it doesn't break when it falls down and for the large mouth opening that fits a sponge to be washed. It doesn't leak when tilted. It requires a little more force to draw liquid from the child's cup because the straw is quite wide (it is not suitable for very young children who are just starting to learn). Excellent quality cup. I give it 4 stars because the straw, although foldable, is exposed.
The spout opens with difficulty and my little one (2.5 years old) cannot do it on her own. Additionally, the spout is very hard, resulting in hitting her teeth sometimes! It is exposed as it does not have a lid.
Positive: Good construction, does not retain any odors and no leaks at all!
Very nice water bottle. It doesn't smell because it's stainless steel. Easy to clean. Easy to hold and doesn't break easily. Great purchase
Verified purchase
It requires very careful closing (a bit difficult for small children); otherwise, everything gets soaked.

Durable construction, keeps the water cool

The water does not stay cold

The only negative thing is that it opens the nozzle a little difficult and additionally it is not thermal.
It broke very quickly.... Money wasted

Quite good, quite useful but broke relatively quickly

The Stephen Joseph children's water bottle has a stainless steel body and a lid with a straw for drinking. It is dishwasher-safe and BPA-free.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Overall, users appreciate the durable stainless steel construction and generous capacity, and often praise its attractive design and easy cleaning.

Verified purchase
The only negative thing is that it opens the nozzle a little difficult and additionally it is not thermal.
It broke very quickly.... Money wasted
Verified purchase
Durable and keeps the water cool!

Quite good, quite useful but broke relatively quickly
