Coming from Philips and Braun, Babyliss is two levels above!!!! Powerful professional tool. I saw it used by barbers and decided to try it. Fast, deep, and clean shave. It takes a little getting used to the foil that rubs against the face, just a matter of habit. The battery lasts a long time. It is heavy, has a good finish in gold color with a cleaning brush and a small storage pouch. At €90 it is a good purchase, a bit pricey, but what is cheap anymore in Greece with profiteering and overtaxation?

I bought the machine because my barber was using it. After 3 months of daily use, the surface that comes into contact with the skin broke down, resulting in small scratches and abrasions on my face. It didn't shave the hairs under my chin and I had to use a razor.

for now they are very good the only downside is that the battery doesn't last long and also they are very heavy for their size

Very good machine, it removes the hairs quite well although it still causes irritation if you want to cut all the hair.

it shaves good on the cheeks but under the jaw its hard to shave, many times it leaves hair, and YES my hair is already short when i try to shave it, maybe im doing something wrong but its not working perfectly, for shaving in the face atleast.

I use it every two days and I am very satisfied. I chose it because I was already very pleased with the results from various barbershops across Greece. Personally, I recommend cleaning with a brush after each use. It has a very sturdy construction and the battery lasts for many shaves. It is a heavier machine than I expected but you get used to it.

Deep shave, ideal for daily use. Battery life. Easy cleaning (dry). The range of heads and the speed of pulses make the difference compared to much more expensive machines with more than double the heads.

So, coming from a professional barbershop, I saw this shaver which is simply fantastic. You can shave in 3-4 minutes, it gets everything completely down to the skin without scratching your face, even though my skin is very sensitive. With this machine, I was saved, guys. To shave, you need to trim with a machine almost all the way down so the shaver can do its job. The shaver is amazing, I will buy it again if anything ever happens to it, I will get the same one again, it's totally worth the money.
UPDATE!!!! After about 2 weeks of using it for shaving, it causes a bit of irritation on my face, so you definitely need an aftershave or some kind of face cream. I believe for some people it might be different, but yes, it causes irritation—not pimples, just a bit of irritation and itching. For now, I use a moisturizing cream until I get an aftershave :p

It's just fine... it does what you want..
for me, since I have tough beard hair, I need to go over it many times to get a close shave!

I am a person who almost never gives feedback.... however, this purchase was the best thing I have ever bought in a razor. It is worth every penny down to the last cent. If the hair is more than 2-3 days old... it needs a trim first with some other common clipper. Then the Babyliss shaves like a razor without any irritation at all.

I got it for my boyfriend. He has light skin, quite sensitive in every way. He tells me that I made an amazing choice. The appearance is one of its strongest points!

I have had it for a while and I will go back to the razor. It doesn't pick up the hair on the head well, it needs quite a few passes and a lot of time. And even then, there are still hairs left. If you wait 3-4 days without shaving, forget it, it won't pick them up at all. For this price, I expected something better. Also, with the cleaning brush it comes with, it is almost impossible to clean it well. I made the mistake of buying it because it was at the hair salon, but it seems to only be good for picking up the few hairs on the neck after trimming the beard

Excellent for a quick, close shave of the head. Comfortable to use. Did not cause any irritation. A good wipe of the head before use with a dry or slightly damp towel for those in a hurry. A professional barber recommended it to me, and I have been completely satisfied. Be careful, the cap only closes from one side. My opinion for a good and quick balding every day or every other day is one pass; otherwise, from the third day onwards, it gets tough and needs a trimmer first...

I am changing the review from 5 to 4 stars. Even if you shave every day with the machine, some hairs escape and grow, so during the week you want to trim with a second machine as a backup. This machine is very good, but it cannot stand alone and be used exclusively.

1. The machine shaves almost perfectly as long as you have first trimmed to keep the hair at most 1 mm. The longer the hair, the less effective the machine.
2. The shave is very close to a razor; in certain areas of the skin, especially around the lips, it feels like you’ve used a razor.
3. Intense irritation, especially if you take more than 2-3 minutes to shave against the grain. Do not shave if you do not have aftershave beforehand.
4. If it doesn’t catch some hairs, don’t insist and use a trimmer temporarily, then go back to the machine; there can be cuts from too much force and irritation on the skin.
5. Extremely durable; if it falls, it doesn’t get damaged.

It is perhaps the only razor that can compete with those that cost 300 euros. I'm not exaggerating, and I have understood its flaws; if you expect results after days of not shaving or expect it to perform miracles, this razor is not for you. But if you have a washed head and shave like I do relatively often every one to two days, guys, it’s perfect, it doesn’t irritate the skin, and for me, who has very sensitive skin, it’s perfect, it cleans easily and many other things. The only negatives are that it doesn’t shave sharply and very much, so it takes a little time, it makes noise, and it’s a bit heavy. For me, who shaves often, I don’t care about such flaws at this price.

Very overrated for its price. Shaving for 120€ is not that fast and although it is deep, in some areas it doesn't do well, resulting in the need for a razor. Also, it is not possible to spend 130 euros on a machine and only have a simple brush for cleaning in the set. I do not recommend it.

It is not possible to buy a razor that is not waterproof. For the love of God and the Virgin Mary, it costs 120€. Not to mention the fact that the cleaning kit is at least miserable, as it consists only of a small brush. I do not recommend it at all.

Flawless machine, powerful and does what it should. I use it for my head, it doesn't irritate the skin and leaves it soft and smooth.

I had seen it in hair salons and I liked its sturdy construction. I really think it is very expensive for the value it offers. It seems very versatile. The only negative thing I would say (for me personally) is that if you use it on your head after 3 days of a full shave, you need many repetitions and it leaves hairs behind. I thought it would be able to catch the shaved hairs even after the fourth day. If this doesn't bother you, it is a very good choice. Also, I should note that from the reviews I thought it needed the cable to function, but this is not true. You charge it and it works without a cable for a long time.

Household user so I don't know how helpful my opinion is. It shaves very deeply and quickly. It is perfect on the cheeks but irritates a little lower on the neck, if I don't use cologne/alcohol I get pimples. Otherwise, very good.

Quite a close shave, ideal for a one-day beard (not recommended for longer beards of 3-4 days). It causes a little irritation for me, although it may be because I press it against my face more. A positive aspect is that it has a good battery and you can shave while it charges with the cable. Sturdy construction, I'm afraid that if it falls, it will break a tile in the bathroom. Cleaning it is not as easy as my previous machine, which could be washed with water. Its price is high, but I don't know if someone can find the close shave it provides for that amount of money.

It has been a month and I can't find a replacement Cutter & Mesh and I am doing my job with razors, waiting for when they will bring...

First time in the world of shavers so there is no point of comparison! I just can't believe that there could be something out there that surpasses it! What else can it do better when it already does it perfectly! Sturdy, premium construction and very elegant. It does leave marks, I agree, but if you don't intend to use it for your salon's composite, I don't think this should bother you. As for noise and vibration, nothing annoying! Overall, it's worth its money and it does the job professionally!
