The DualZDirect is a passive two-channel DI box designed for connecting unbalanced instrument, line, or speaker signals to balanced inputs. Each input signal is routed to an XLR output with transformer isolation, and it also features a parallel Thru output for connecting to an amplifier simultaneously.
The switches on the front panel provide attenuation of up to 40 dB for adjusting high-level signals, as well as a Bessel low-pass filter to eliminate high-frequency interference. On the rear, there are switches to enable ground lift, reducing hum, and to invert the phase of the signal, solving phase issues when combining DI and microphone sources.
As a fully passive design, the DualZDirect requires no external power supply. It is ideal for active sources such as synthesizers or guitars and basses with active preamp circuits. The DualZDirect is known for its durability, presented in a rugged aluminum enclosure with two independent channels and a versatile set of functions.
