The Levenhuk DTX 500 digital microscope with a 3.5-inch LCD screen and a 5 Mpx camera examines samples at magnifications from 20x to 500x. It saves photos and videos to a microSD card with a capacity of up to 32 GB, while the measuring scale on the stage and the two clips hold the sample in place and make it easier to observe.

Eight white LED lights illuminate the work surface and have adjustable brightness. The screen features controls for adjusting brightness, exposure, and color balance, while exposure and white balance are adjusted automatically. It connects to a computer via USB 2.0 for file transfer and use of the measurement software, while the AV output sends the image to a TV or projector.
