Small diaphragm condenser microphone, with a high-performance handmade capsule that provides a perfectly balanced sound, not harsh or aggressive, ideal for sources such as high-hats and overhead drums.

The -10 dB and -20 dB pad selector offers an extended dynamic range, enabling a wide range of applications and close-mic techniques for wind instruments, drums, percussion, and many more.

With two filter options at 80Hz or 160Hz, it allows the elimination of unwanted sounds such as low-frequency rumble or footstep noises, and helps manage low frequencies to avoid muddiness or even bass overload (proximity effect), problems that usually occur in close-mic techniques.

The SE8 is ideal for all studio challenges and all demanding on-stage applications.
