Saint John the Evangelist is one of the greatest luminaries of our Church, and he has more titles than all the other Saints. He was from the closest circle of the Apostles of Christ. He is the author of the most spiritual of the four Gospels, the greatest of all books of humanity.
He proclaimed the divinity of the Word with all his heart. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." He is also the author of the Revelation. He was the disciple of love, who proclaimed "love one another" and the most beloved disciple of Christ, as during the Last Supper he lay on the breast of Jesus.
He was also the purest of the Apostles to whom Jesus entrusted His Virgin Mother from the Cross. John's words and preaching were like thunder. Full of love, but also full of holy strictness, vigor, and divine power.
In this book, the author humbly tries to touch this sanctified figure, to listen to the pulse of her heart, and to convey her message of love.
