It does connect to the TV, but the volume buttons do not control the volume. They change the channels. Not effective.

It's not very good. The price, of course, wasn't much (7€), but still, I don't think it's worth it. It has relatively slow response compared to the Samsung QLED that I tried. With less money, you can get, for example, the Powertech PT-834 (I bought it together for €3), which is much better.
I bought two identical remote controls within a period of 4 months because the volume buttons were malfunctioning both times. Unacceptable product, completely fake construction
From the beginning, the buttons for volume and channel change were hard, you had to press them several times for them to work and hold them down to increase the volume step by step...
Within a month at most, these two buttons stopped working and now the numbers don't work either.
Bad choice... I am looking for a new one
