I have tried 3 other non-apple HDMI to type-c adaptors... one burned, the other didn't wake up the second screen... the third one was unstable... I gave up and bought an apple one and it works as it should.. Unfortunately, for those of us in the apple ecosystem, we have to decide that along with apple products come expensive peripherals.

Excellent adapter but excessively expensive. I got it to have peace of mind with charging after the problems I faced with burnt motherboards on M1 MacBooks. Apple fixed it with an OS update, but when I got it, I didn't have any other alternative to have peace of mind. Also, it's very positive that it outputs 4K @60 Hz on HDMI, which most branded or unbranded ones don't.
Also, one negative is that the USB-A is very tight.
Overall, it's a good but overpriced product.
Εξαιρετικος ανταπτορας αλλα υπερβολικα ακριβως. Τον πηρα για να εχω το κεφαλι μου ησυχο με την φορτιση μετα τα προβληματα που δοαβασα για καμμενες μητρικες στα Μ1 macbooks. Στην συνεχεια η apple με os upd το διορθωσε, αλλα οταν τον πηρα δεν ειχα καμια αλλη εναλλακτικη για να εχω το κεφαλι μιυ ησυχο. Επισης πολυ θετικο οτι βγαζει 4κ @60 hz στην hdmi που τα περισσοτερα επωνυμα ή ανωνυμα δεν.
Επισης ενα αρνητικο ειναι πως η usb a ειναι πολυ σφιχτη.
Γενικα ειναι ενα καλο αλλα υπερκοστολογημενο προιόν.
