No problem with this particular hub. Note that it does not support HDR but SDR. I bought it to connect an iPad Pro 12.9 2020 to a TV and various USB accessories. So far, I have connected surround headphones, a mouse - keyboard, a web camera, a USB Ethernet adapter, and everything works flawlessly. On the iPad, I do have an issue with letterbox mirroring, but that has nothing to do with the adapter. Sometimes I have noticed that the adapter gets quite hot, but its aluminum construction helps a lot with that. Overall, I am very satisfied with its performance so far!

It passed through my hands as a loan for 2 days, but since I don't see any other reviews, let me share my impressions.

In terms of construction, it seemed very good to me. It is metallic, it looks sturdy, it didn't heat up (during the <8 hours that I tested it), it has a light that indicates it is receiving power, and I was impressed by how well it connects to the type c (you can feel the click, it doesn't come off easily). The HDMI works simultaneously with the USB, of course.

However, be careful, it's not enough to have a USB type c, it must be a second generation type c in order to output image to HDMI! Consult/google your laptop's manual before getting any USB-C adapter.

Overall, it seemed to me like a value for money quality solution.
