The ASG CZ Shadow 2 CO2 air pistol takes its style from the real steel counterpart and offers all the same excellent features. The slide is made of anodized aluminum and has a less rounded and more angular design with a slight increase in weight due to being larger. The added weight and sharper slide design make recoil management easier and allow for more accurate shots on target.

The serrations on the slide are deeper and more pronounced, giving the shooter a tighter grip when cocking the slide. The grooves on the front and back of the pistol grip are also more distinct, and when combined with the CNC-machined zinc plates, promote a much better grip on the pistol handle.

The trigger guard has been extended for easier access to the trigger and allows smoother operation when wearing gloves. The Shadow 2 also features a new angled-cut grip, which is deeper at the tail. A new cut on the trigger guard allows the Shadow 2 to sit more stably in the shooter's hand and promotes better recoil management.

The enlarged magazine release cover is adjustable with three available positions that can be set using only one hex tool. The magazine safety has a more pronounced profile to give the shooter positive confirmation when pressing it.
